“Outstanding place, excellent hosting! We were blessed we found this place. A rare find, and more amenities then can imagine. Wether you need to reset or make forever memories, this is a place you need to lock in on the family yearly to-do list. I would recommend this to families, hunters, manhattan sport game flowers, or a nice get away. I am not sure why it is not a little bit more priced, but we are not complaining. Excellent price. This would be a great winter retreat as well. Thank you John.”
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway and are interested in the off-grid lifestyle, come stay at our cabin located south of Junction City. It is 100% off-grid, still offering all the amenities that make life comfortable while allowing you to get back to the simplicity that many are searching for. There won't be another soul in sight unless you want them there. You can BBQ on the pellet grill with your family, make s'mores around the camp fire, watch the kids jump on the trampoline and swing, go fishing on the dock, take a boat for a little ride, swim, relax in the screened-in porch, and then enjoy the air conditioning or heating/fireplace when you're ready to go to bed. The cabin sits on a four acre pond, and is truly one of a kind. Rates are $125 a night for our winter rates, and Friday and Saturday must be booked together. Please message for more information, and thank you for looking!
“Megan and Tim are fantastic hosts! They are quick to respond and eager to help in any way they can. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and having the entire pond to yourself is amazing. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. If you do need to get into town, it is only a 15 minute jaunt so not bad at all. Be advised, the cabin does have air conditioning, but you will need to occasionally fill up two generators with fuel to run it. Tim and Megan are more than happy to help you with this, and the generators last around 10 hours, so it really isn't a huge deal. Also, the pasture road has not been gravelled. We used our little Toyota Corolla and did just fine, but I anticipate that if it had rained while we were there, there is a good chance we would have been stuck. This place is amazing. Highly recommend.”
“Great host, great communication, great location & a comfortable and quiet place to stay for your visit to Emporia. Well maintained with some retro touches. The kitchen is well equipped & beds are comfortable. Lovely yard, though it was snowing and quite cold, so not much use of the backyard or pool! Lovely place to stay.”
