Situated slightly elevated on the Mühlberg, you can look out into the treetops of the small village park from the bedroom. (If there is snow, you can even go sledding a little here). It is quiet here and you can live undisturbed. From here you can go cycling in the Spreewald, in the nature reserves and to the nearby lakes. Or relax on the covered terrace, barbecue or sunbathe in the courtyard.

The port of Lübbenau is only 11 km away and the port of Lübben can also be reached in 13 km. For water lovers, Lake Stoßdorf can be explored in just 12 minutes by bike. Lake Hindenburg and an Italian restaurant are also just 2 km away and are only 20 minutes' walk.

You are most welcome and will find pure peace and relaxation in our lovingly furnished and fully equipped holiday home in nature. We are located on the border of Saxony in the Elbe-Elster Land, 12 minutes by car from the highway. The Dorotheenhouse is a little cottage in the heart of the Spreewald. This home is a place that we also use with friends and family, and we cherish it with all our heart. We are not in the apartment rental business and this is the only home we have. While it is not a hotel, you will find many personal touches and live in a very much personalized home.
