Monthly Rentals in Corton

What an adventure! Talk about service! Elizabeth & her driver dropped me off at night & picked me up in the morning. This is off grid! Primitive, no electricity or water, there was heat & camping cook stove if you needed it. And I was comfortable in the pouring rain all night & there was a beautiful trickling creek below. It was magical if you are into the outdoors & nature & wilderness! I will be back! Thank you Elizabeth!

This is our 4th time staying at David's place and it seems to get better each time! Great place to stay!

Tucked back in a little holler along a quiet, crystal clear river, this cottage is a lovely gem to kick back and relax in after spending the day enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the local area. And there's so much to do in the region, especially if you're the outdoorsy type, and this place is close to all of the cool stuff you'll want to do. There's also plenty of nature just sitting on the back porch (if you're lucky, maybe the neighbour's chickens will come visit). We didn't rent the kayaks this time around, but we definitely will next time. Indoors, you'll find comfortable furnishings, a roomy and modern kitchen, washer and dryer, three bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and nice linens. And bonus! The bathtub is deep enough to actually take a bath in! Everything is clean and neat, decent parking, and so much better than any hotel. Michael is quick to respond if you have any questions, and gives you your privacy if you don't. A good host. 😊

Staying in the loft was delightful! The beds were quite comfortable. The ducks and chickens made their presence known. The roosters followed the quite hours rule until about 5am. The woods were fun to wonder in. Breakfast was delicious (even DF)! I would highly recommend!! We had great conversations with our fellow guests over breakfast. I would also recommend zipping any bags or suitcases before bed as I discovered a small deposit of cracked corn tucked in one of my shirts up on returning home. Not sure which critter put them there as they were very quiet about it. Overall it is a great place to stay, especially if you have farm nostalgia and enjoy the sounds and (pleasant) smells of farm life.
