Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Cornwall

Just got back from a lovely 2 day stay at The Shepherds Hut. My first Airbnb experience was so positive. Would definitely stay there again. Stunning location and 2 minutes walk to the beach. The hut is cosy but has all you need for a short stay. Parking on site is secure on a driveway behind a gate. Thank you Meg ☺️

We had a lovely stay at the Shepard’s hut. It had everything we needed, in a great location, perfect for a local getaway. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a unique place.. you have to like wild and back to basics.. I stayed in the circus trailer. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried at first at the slightly tired appearance. But once the fire was lit, the fairy lights were on it was perfect. The most comfortable bed with the greatest view from it. Tea making facility and somewhere to charge my phone. Toilet and shower block were spotless, the shared kitchen and use of fridge and cookers was great. Fire pit and wood supplied and it was the most amazing dark space. The view of the stars, ISS and starlink were the best I’ve ever seen. I stayed here so I could walk the SWCP and it’s a 15-20 min walk to Polperro from the site so it was perfect. I would stay here again. This is definitely a wild, back to basics place to stay but I loved it. Matt was super helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of days. Everything we needed for a peaceful time. I would say that if you have mobility issues it might not be the right place for you as the path from the car park to hut is very steep and chippings under foot. The only other issues was you are unable to check in until after 5pm which I thought was late and it would have been nice to have had the hot tub warm when we arrived as it took a few hours to get it warm enough to use. Otherwise a great little place and would recommend it.

We stayed in a lovely shepherd's hut, situated among wild flowers, overlooking surrounding fields and the sea. It was an idyllic location and within easy reach of St Ives. The hut was very cosy and we were impressed by the standard of the communal facilities which included a squeaky clean bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. It was also a pleasure to meet Dale who was very friendly and helpful.

A simple and small shepherd's hut in the magical Cotna valley, surrounded by and embedded in, young and old trees and next to wondruos gardens with an enchanting outdoor seating area. Own outdoor kitchen next to a yurt (cutlery, salt and pepper provided, a fridge a stroll away) and a warm shower amongst hawthorne trees. I ordered the delicious organic breakfast hamper and fell in love with the sourdough buns. Truly the best I'ever tasted and they also made my stomach purr. Sara very kindly showed me how to make them. A very kind and relaxed host, lovely to chat too! Cotna is right next to gorgeous woodland tracks and to one of the most beautiful and wild British coastlines I've met.

We really enjoyed our stay here, personally think it looks better in real life. The little touches that was left for us is always is a big hit, it’s a warm welcome. Check- in and check- out times were just perfect Absolutely spotlessly clean also. I can’t fault it. The best Sheppards hut I’ve ever stayed in 👌🏼

We had a fantastic couple of days at Rachel's Shepard's hut. Rachel was friendly and welcoming, she changed our duvet for a lightweight one, had lots of great recommendations and added some great touches to the hut that made our stay excellent. The hut is well situated in a peaceful dead end road but just a 15 min walk from Penzance town centre. During our stay we visited the Jubilee Pool geothermal pool (amazing and relaxing), hired beryl bikes and cycled to st Michael's Mount and enjoyed wondering around the lovely independent shops and pubs. We will definitely stay again. Rachel is an excellent host

Great stay! Would recommend for a line traveller

I absolutely loved the stay in Rachel's shepherd's hut! I was welcomed with a hug as well as fresh scones with jam and clotted cream... The hut is super equipped and has everything you could wish for. The information about the region and the detailed map were very helpful and in case of questions there was always an answer within short time. I would definitely recommend to come here for a stay on the Lizard Peninsula, absolutely lovely!

Had a lovely night away here with my partner and our dog. Lovely area with amazing views and lots of things to do around! Had some lovely little field friends too! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend! Louise was friendly and super responsive.

The Daisy Hut was a great place to stay and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Check in was easy and it was a really peaceful spot- kitchen was perfect for cooking up breakfast each morning. We walked 1 hour 45 to Port Isaac along the coastal path, had dinner at the Mote which we would recommend and walked back inland route (35 mins). Definitely recommend an hour walk around Doyden Castle. Port Quin is a real hidden gem- definitely recommend.

Lovely little shepherd’s hut and a nice area/house .. everything you need in there Rachel definitely goes out her way to provide for anyone , the little extras in the hut to tea and coffee and even the a Little glass milk . Very easy to find and very ideal for visiting Cornwall very sensual to all popular spots . And the Woodfire hot tub was a game changer. Hundred percent recommend defo would come back for another stay Thanks 🙏

We had a perfect few days here, with a remote location but still great great for nearby walking and beaches.

We have just stayed here and it was amazing ( we stayed here again last year)! Would 100% recommend ! Everything you needed in this beautiful Shepard's hut and so peaceful. Can walk into Perrenporth easier on the walk down the hill. Anneli was so helpful and great with communication. Thank you for making our stay just brilliant

We had the most relaxing stay in Amanda’s shepherds hut. It was perfectly positioned to take in the tranquil scenery and equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Amanda was the perfect host, thank you, we wish we were still there!

We had a great stay for 4 nights at Ellie's Shepherds Hut. The hut is charming and very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The setting is peaceful and tucked away but also super convenient for getting into Perranporth on foot. Thank you, we had a fantastic trip.

What a Lovely private spotlessly clean gorgeous shepherds hut just across the road from a fun pub. Great location for exploring North Cornwall, St Agnes Portreath etc. Will definitely visit again. 5 stars

A lovely evening at Deborah’s Shepard’s hut watching the sun set over the sea. Despite it being one of the hottest days this year the breeze came in through the windows and it was an extremely comfortable night. A lovely spot for a night of relaxation. I can see it would be cozy in the winter months with the wood burner!
