This late 16th century, newly refurbished, thatched cottage sits in the village of Corfe Castle. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 single beds. On the ground floor is a cozy sitting/dining room, bathroom, with vaulted ceiling and shower over the bath. French doors lead from the brand new kitchen to the patio and the garden with direct access to The Halves. Wifi, nearby on-street parking & EV charging, low ceilings, gas central heating. Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds . Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Downstairs has Wet-room with sink & separate toilet & sink New Kitchen WiFi Log burner and 2 free basket of logs South facing Patio Parking 2 cars 5 mins walk to Corfe Village Pets welcome.

Rural cottage on working dairy farm near Swanage

Cosy rural cottage on our working dairy farm, located on a back lane halfway between Corfe Castle and Swanage. The cottage is right on the farm, directly in front of the farm house. It has its own entrance and parking, private garden and is furnished simply and comfortably. Sleeping up to 4 guests in two bedrooms - a king bed in one bedroom and a double bed/two singles in the other bedroom. Your dog is welcome at an extra £25 . Travel cot and highchair available.
