The cottage is simply furnished - 2 bedrooms, (second at top of stairs) WC, kitchen & lounge. Guest parking with private, walled garden.

The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage

Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

Cosy Purbeck Cottage on the Jurassic Coast

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

'Conker hut' is a handcrafted, rurally positioned hut set on the grounds of a country Manor, which is located in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, with Poole Harbour situated 2 miles to the North, the Jurassic coast 3 miles to the south and the historic site of Corfe Castle 2 miles to the west. The hut is cosy, well equipped and perfectly suited for a rural retreat, however please don't forget, you are staying in a Shepherds hut and not a luxury apartment therefore there is no WIFI nor TV.

The chalet has a large decking overlooking the sea, it’s a total escape…..it has 1 King Double bedroom with en-suite, & 1 twin, 2 shower rooms & fully fitted modern kitchen/living area which opens onto the large decking area and panoramic views of the sea… to the left is Lulworth Cove, to the right the Isle of Portland, amazing sunrises and sunsets!

Stylish Barn Conversion

The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. The third bedroom has bifold doors onto the patio and an en-suite with rainfall snail shower. TV/cinema room.

The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. This hut is called Primrose. King size bed with 100% cotton linen, with a choice of pillows. Kitchen with a microwave/grill, small fridge and hob. Underfloor heating. Full size shower and toilet within the hut. Outside shelter for washing dogs/boots and facilities for bike washing on site. Private parking and enclosed garden with out door seating. Welcome pack provided. Famous Jurassic Coast Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close.
