Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Contra Costa County

room was bright, luxury towels and robe nice touch. it was great to have a fridge with breakast food and drinks right next to room. also it was quiet.

Dan provided really clear instructions, which was great because I didn’t have a lot of time prior to arrival to get ready for my trip. The locks were easy and the bedroom was clean. The skylights in the Sky Room were really cool - TONS of light in the bathroom from the skylight which was nice for doing makeup or getting ready in the morning. The bed was really comfortable and the brownie was delicious. The garden was in bloom and was a peaceful place for my quick light breakfast. A great value stay walkable to some of my favorite spots in Berkeley and Elmwood.

This is the second time for me staying at Ram’s for a conference in SF. The checkin is easy as they provide accurate instructions. They also provide free breakfast at a cafe below the hotel! Overall for the clean room, free breakfast and accessibility in the city I would highly recommend Ram’s for a couple of nights stay for professional visiting the city

I booked this rental of behalf of family members who were visiting San Francisco for an extended 9 day stay over the holidays. Martina’s place is an easy 10 minute walk from my own home which made it a perfect location to have family close by. The rental unit, which is downstairs from the main residence, is as advertised and looks just like the photos. Upon arrival, Martina met us to walk us through the property and make sure everything went smoothly. She was super helpful and responsive to any questions throughout the stay. The apartment was very cozy and good size. One thing worth noting is that you need to walk outside (on the back porch) to get between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue but might be say for parents with small children. Each bedroom had a fridge and bathroom, so the separation actually provides additional privacy, if that’s what you are looking for. The outside space, particularly the hot tub & attached sauna were especially enjoyed. Great stay!

Great location, generous amenities. Easy communication. I will definitely be coming back. Oh, their house had a few Airbnb rooms and what was interesting was it felt so quiet. I loved that.

Skate, Jeannie, Marley, and Ziggy were great hosts! I loved how friendly they all were. Our hosts checked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying our stay and were finding our way around the city. The garden was a perfect oasis to just sit in and feel at peace while looking at the beautiful scenery, listening to the water fountains, and a friendly kitty purring on our lap. They provided a binder with lots of helpful information, and they sent some personalized suggestions prior to our stay answering some questions I had regarding places to eat for someone with food allergies. The location was within a 30 min drive of Haight/Ashbury, Ghirardelli Square, and Fisherman's Wharf (shorter during low traffic times), but despite having our own vehicle and using Waymo many times to get around, the walk to the 360 viewing park next to their home was BEAUTIFULLY STUNNING! if we ever come back to san francisco, we will definitely stay here again! thank u for a great anniversary vacation!

Great place to land as a solo traveler. Safe and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Well designed, social, clean and perfect. Feels like Europe. I met friends here and ended up extending my stay for two extra nights and I would have stayed longer if I could. Public transport is easy from Green Tortoise. Even locals say this place is worth checking out so the community knows it’s special too.

Beautiful well maintained super clean house in a very safe quiet and convenient location. Michelle is a wonderful host, proactively communicated and provided most items needed for a pleasant stay. Other tenants were nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Lana’s for a month & I felt home as soon as I entered! Lana is extremely helpful & kind & is around to help with anything her guests might require. Can’t afford to miss her suggestions buddy. She was also kind enough to help me with my cooking, picked me from BART station couple times & we did share meals along! House is extremely convenient, just 10 mins from El Cerrito BART or 2 min cab ride. There are stores & cafes around for food & drinks. I’ve come home late night 2-3am & it felt totally safe. Lana has an amazing garden & I spent a lot of my time there. Extremely well maintained & equipped with all amenities anyone might require. If you’re looking for a stay in/around Bay area, think no further! I initially felt reviews are hyped & overrated, but based on my review now, we can conclude all are 100% true & there’s no doubt Lana is a SUPER HOST! Next time I visit Bay area, I know there’s a place I can call home! Thank you, Lana for being an amazing host!!!!!

What can I say about Lana and her wonderful house/hosting? I lived with Lana and a virtual UN of other limited guests for six months. During that time, I acclimated to being back in California, being a full time Dad again, and working/looking for a job. Lana's unique blend of cozy and extraordinarily (yet relaxed) helpfulness came through in spades. It's a community as well as individual preferences. One thing that always is present is love. Lana truly enjoys what she's doing with AirBnB, and I have yet to meet someone - past or present - that doesn't find her and her home endearing. Indeed, she has even become like a virtual Grandmother to my two children. (Psst - she also unusually let me throw a small birthday party - I dressed as Mr. Incredible - and a small poetry party complete with black beret for poem readers!) I could go on and on, but perhaps it is better to end here on one last note. I will be sure to keep in touch Lana for years and always treasure the time I came to live with and know Lana. Michelle and her co-hosts were fantastic! The studio is very spacious and located in the back of the house so there’s a lot of privacy. Would definitely stay again!
