Monthly Rentals in Combret

A lovely apartment in a peaceful location. The host was very attentive, provided a travel cot and communicated well. We really enjoyed our night stay. The only downfall was that it was not self check in as advertised, We arrived later than planned. However, the host was lovely and nothing was too much for him. It was worth the price and matched the photos and details.

Traveling from the USA and making my way through the beautiful Côte du Sud, I decided to stop for a night at Karen’s place on my way north to Bordeaux, and wow, what a magical decision that was! The place is exactly as described, only better. It’s charming, peaceful, and surrounded by the kind of nature that makes you consider quitting your job and becoming a poet. Karen herself is a delight , equal parts chef, gardener, and hospitality wizard. She grows her own spices in the garden and somehow turns them into a dinner so good it should be illegal in at least three countries. She's incredibly detail-oriented, charismatic, and patient, like the kind of host who’d gently talk you through how to use a French coffee maker while you’re still jetlagged and mildly afraid of buttons. I only stayed one night, but I left feeling like I’d stayed with a friend. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with the family at this place. Valerie is a great host, responsive. For karting and microlight enthusiasts, the location is very close, even on foot (with no constraints related to the noise of these activities)! I highly recommend it.
