Riverside Grouse Creek Inn Right on The Eagle River

Listen to the burbling river from the private hot tub to a mountain backdrop, while the deep jetted tub in the main bathroom is an equally welcome sight. The gourmet kitchen has a Viking stove, while the wood-rich interior includes 2 gas fireplaces. New luxury king mattress and bed in the main bedroom! This property used to provide the "Rooms on the River" when it was part of the Minturn Inn on Main street. Now this coveted spot is all for you. Tucked out of the way on a quiet street it's the perfect place to relax after a hard day of mountaineering. The apartment consists of the great room and the master bedroom suite. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bedside fireplace, en-suite bathroom with jetted bath tub, glass shower and hot tub right outside your bedroom door. The main room contains a queen bed with privacy curtains which has direct access to the main bathroom and shower. The main room also contains a full gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar, round table that seats 6, 50" tv with cable, and pull out sleeper sofa. The apartment opens directly out to the yard right on the river. The entire apartment is private including private entrance. The yard is shared with us, however we rarely use it since our children prefer the front/street side of the house where they can ride their bikes! My wife or I will often be out fly-fishing in our backyard river in the summer evenings. We're happy to share the space and tell you what's biting! Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible. Or even high-heel accessible. Boots are recommend to walk through the shoveled path that takes you to the riverside entrance. There is a rope handrail to help guide you but you must be sure-footed. Our family of four live in the completely separate upstairs. I'm normally available for anything that comes up, but do not want to impede on your relaxing riverside vacation. Minturn is a small ski town away from the bustle of Vail and Beaver Creek. Stroll to several restaurants, a winery, quaint gift shops, a record store, and perhaps the best fly shop in the mountains. Ski, raft, and mountain bike just minutes away. There is free parking in the driveway. There is a bus stop a 3-minute walk away that will take you to Vail for $4. Ubers and taxis are also available. Our home and property is non-smoking. No pets please. Pack n' Play with fitted sheet in unit. Ironing board/iron, fan, extra blankets, picnic basket/backpack, hair dryer in each bathroom.

Reclaimed bricks and bleacher floors highlight the open layout, while evenings around the wood-burning fireplace in the cozy backyard await. Please no pets [includes friends stopping by to visit] Featured in the Energy Efficient issue of Dwell in March 2011, our home features solar panels, PV panels on the garage + all radiant in-floor heating. A swamp cooler and open central gateway keep the house cool, while placement of cantilevers allows passive heating/cooling. In the backyard you'll find a gas grill, Big Green Egg and edible garden. The second floor opens to a roof garden with hot tub. The third floor has city views and an outdoor shower. Modern decor that is functional and useable sets the design tone making it a space that's nice to look at and comfortable to be in. Cozy, airy, livable, sustainable. A carriage dirt lot behind the home offers additional parking options if street is taken, but street parking is ample. A welcome book should answer all questions about the house + neighborhood but please reach out if you're looking for specific suggestions or need anything special. I can be available if needed. The Lower Highland neighborhood is only a short bike ride to downtown, and is growing quickly. That means there are many attractive dining and shopping options within walking distance of this home. Our home is located within a neighborhood, so we do ask guests politely respect that fact by ensuring music and voices are kept low after 10pm when outside. B-Cycle stations are only blocks away and a great way to explore the City of Denver. The home is professionally cleaned by an Air BnB focused cleaning company whom also provides all professionally laundered linens. The hot tub is professionally cleaned between visits as well. We unfortunately can not accommodate early check-in or late check-outs as we are usually booked back to back. Thanks for understanding and allowing ample time for the cleaners to do their job sans intrusion :)

As you enter, you will be greeted by the large living room and beautiful kitchen with a pull out coach, fire place, and Smart TV, where you can relax watching cable. The full kitchen has everything to cook your own meals with a full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of table/counter space, a Keurig coffee machine with k-cups, a table and four chairs. The living room is connected to the bedroom giving a studio like feeling, with a comfortable queen bed, and a closet. In the first bathroom on the main floor you will be able to find a beautiful glass shower with a washer and dryer. To make life easy, we have laundry soap, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body soap. There are a set of stairs in the living area that lead up to the second bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs, spacious bedroom has two comfortable twin beds, with separate reading lamps. Off of the upstairs bedroom there is a second full bathroom, with a large beautiful bath tub. Other amenities include high speed Wi-Fi for all you work/entertainment needs as well as heating & Air Conditioning to keep you comfortable all year round.
