This is a great “get away” place. Private, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Our host, Laura, provided us with a list of things to do; and they were great recommendations. Is about 10-15 minutes (driving/uber) from downtown Fredericksburg; so you have the choice to go downtown during the day and have a peaceful evening at this place. It’s relaxing, and you’ll connect with nature. Every day we saw deers, rabbits, and wild life (of course, a little far away from the place). If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!!!! 💯 % recommended

This was our sixth stay at one of Cheryl’s river houses, and it was just as wonderful as always! Peaceful mornings on the back porch, watching the wildlife, were the perfect escape. My girls had a blast fishing, and I was able to hop on a Zoom meeting with no Wi-Fi issues at all. We never miss a stop at Jo Momma’s—great burgers and under 10 minutes away. Dinner at TJ’s @ The Old Forge in Bandera was delicious (the white gravy is a must!), and Out of the Way Café remains a favorite. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I’m hooked on the chicken tenders and sandwich. Can’t wait for visit #7!

Richard was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and accommodating in every way. The home was perfect for our family, with a spacious open floor plan that made it easy and comfortable to move around. We especially loved the game room and the pool—both were big hits with everyone. The location strikes a great balance: close enough to the city to enjoy all it has to offer, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to unwind with your family, look no further than this Airbnb.

Wow! We loved our stay here so much! Josh and Amiee were so nice, responsive and helpful! They gave great instructions on getting here and also on all check in/check out procedures. Any questions we had, they replied almost immediately. We really needed a restful getaway and this was the perfect place. We loved the pool so much and enjoyed watching all the birds especially. The place was impeccably clean and welcoming! We slept great in the adjustable bed. We had 2 smart TVs to use and the biggest selection of DVD’s we’ve ever seen. The kitchen had everything you could think of and it was so helpful to have a washer/dryer to use. Did I mention the pool? AMAZING! We plan to come back again soon! Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Karen’s carriage house was perfect for our brief stay in Georgetown. It was immaculately clean, and all instructions were easy to follow. It had everything that we needed and had everything needed for someone who was staying longer. We highly recommend Karen’s place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Mikes getaway was exactly what’s described and more! My mom and I couldn’t have had a better place to call ours for the night in town! Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

A found a great place to stay while visiting my sister who lives in Helotes and was a perfect get away only about a mile away from her. The host's Bob and Patti were very gracious and very helpful. It's a perfect over the garage loft that has all you need in it. Very quite. Sky lights light up the room. Clean and clean smelling. I enjoyed my ten day vacation experience there, you will too.

We had such a wonderful time! the condo was clean and smelled great. Bed and pillows were comfy. The balcony had a great view of the deer and courtyard. Zach was very responsive and gave great directions on parking and how to locate the condo. We will definitely return!

Great hosts and place!

Our family of four absolutely loved our stay! The location is private and peaceful, and while it’s a bit far from Austin and all there is to do downtown, it was the perfect escape for our Spring Break weekend. The condo was cozy, with plenty of games and activities. We enjoyed our time on the patio, played pickleball, spent a lot of time in the hot tub and pool (or reading by the pool at sunset with the most incredible view), and my animal whisperer son got to feed and interact with the deer on site- a real highlight for him! Thank you, Cheri for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back one day!

The Villa and the facility were very nice and comfortable. The choice of nearby restaurants and markets is sparse to say the least. The onsite Island Grill is only open from Thursday afternoon -Sunday afternoon. Also, if you're hoping for a nearby upscale eatery, don't bother, it's not there. That said, we had a lovely time. Boat rentals are close. Drive slowly near the facility surroundings. Deer are everywhere in the afternoons and evening.

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Within 2 minutes of walking in, I felt very at home and comfortable. The space was gorgeous and the design was well thought out. Everything matched the photos and the amenities that were listed were all there and available for use. Fully planning to book again!

Home was as described with river access and the perfect location! We enjoyed floating the river and hanging out at the river in front of the home. Home was clean and had all the amenities listed.
