Most of the rooms were very large, plenty of room for air mattresses for the kiddos. Short walk to the water, quiet neighborhood. We spent a lot of time playing games, working on puzzles, and taking walks. The house is so well decorated, we seemed to see something new every day that we hadn't noticed the day before. Huge kitchen well stocked with dishes/utensils/pans/small appliances, two dining tables. Great place for a family vacation!!

Three Birds Cottage is conveniently located with good restaurants and cute shops within easy walking distance (I think I’ve parked farther from the door of Target) The town in general is very walkable. The cottage has the charm of a seaside getaway from a novel with all the comforts of home. It offers space for the whole family with 3 district seating areas and a dining room table that seats everyone. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the enclosed front porch reading. The host was fantastic: charming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the area.

My family of 10 had a great stay here! There was plenty of space to spread out and the location is perfect and serene. We were able to fish out on the dock and caught a few spot! One of the friendly neighbors even stopped by to offer some raspberries from their bush and extra firewood. We did run into an issue after check in with one of the bathrooms, but Karina was quick to respond and sent someone out to handle it as quickly as possible. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Brandon’s home was as beautiful as the pictures. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything in the town. The pool and rooftop patio were an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, and the house easily accommodated our group of 8. We will be back!

We loved our stay here! It had everything we needed for the beach and some toys for our toddler. The house is well kept and it even has a small wired fenced yard that was perfect for our two dogs. The beach was smaller than I realized but super relaxing and ended up being a good size for us. Pool access was also appreciated. Would definitely consider coming back!

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. Cupboards were stocked. The view of the river is gorgeous. Brian responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. One of the highlights of our trip was going kayaking (my first time)—an unforgettable experience, my family loved it, even my 3-year-old. Pam and Rick had great suggestions for local activities, and their tips helped make the whole outing smooth and enjoyable. The peaceful setting of their home was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings, especially after running after our 2 toddlers. We’re so thankful for this memorable stay and highly recommend their home to anyone visiting Montrose and we would love to return someday!

We had an amazing stay at Ryan’s place for our Father’s Day weekend fishing trip! Ryuan was a fantastic host—very accommodating, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great place- right next to the golf cart rentals which was amazing! Seven minute walk to everything. Would definitely stay here again it was a lovely trip!

Great for a group/family weekend getaway. Erin and Aryn are very hospitable hosts and provided all the essentials. Everything in the kitchen and all the light switches are clearly labeled, making it easy to navigate.

LOCATION is 5 stars. Quiet neighborhood just steps to a private piece of beach just for the cottage. All the downtown fun is a 15 minute walk away.

Chris and his Co-hosts were super communicative throughout our teams entire stay. Our workers were able to enjoy the cottage in a quiet neighborhood and were even able to meet Chris. Super attentive with clear instructions and plenty of amenities available. Thank you so much for your hospitality and thank you for sharing a moment with the guys!

We had a wonderful vacation here. Although it rained during our stay, we found the treehouse to be a great place just for listening the rain drops and having some inner peace.

Robin was a terrific host. She’s easy to deal with. I would rent from her again.

My family enjoyed 2 very peaceful days at The Boyce Cottage. We were looking for a quiet get away where we could fish, kayak, bike, and stare at the water. The cottage was spacious with a huge yard. We loved sitting around the fire pit with our dog and just relaxing. If we had stayed one more day we would have explored Warsaw and Colonial Beach. It was early in the season so unfortunately we did not have any luck catching fish. The kayaks were great and easy to access. I would return to this cottage once the dock is complete. I read that the owners are getting bids and hoping for the dock to be in this year. The beds were comfy and I loved the view from the master.
