Monthly Rentals in Colonel Light Gardens

Judith’s home was a perfect location for our time in Adelaide and she was an amazing host. It is always wonderful to stay in someone’s home who is familiar with the area and can make recommendations for shopping, dining out, and sightseeing. Also, as it is their home, they personally (and quickly) deal with any requests (or issues) versus a remote corporate property owner. The kitchen was fully stocked, there was plenty of linen for our use, and Judith even provided us Esky’s to use for our day trips. The outside space worked well for us to rinse and dry our scuba gear. We would definitely stay in Judith’s home if we returned to Adelaide.

Pearl's little granny flat was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was SO beautiful and cosy, and so well stocked as well. I loved it so much that I want to ask her how much it cost so I can get one for myself in my own backyard 😂

We had a wonderful stay at Leanne's house. The home was exactly as we had hoped and matched the photos and description. It was extremely comfortable and clean with quirky touches. The outdoor bath (on the upstairs balcony) was a fun feature that was used several times by us. The home is in a very peaceful area with beautiful houses to see. We walked each morning, just around the neighbouring streets. There is also a nice little cafe 5 minutes away via foot. The beds, sheets and towels were all good quality and we found the heating and cooling effective - our stay swung from 33 degrees to 19 degrees in a few days. The only tiny criticism I have is that there is limited hanging space for clothes in one of the bedrooms but we worked around that, and I would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us Leanne!

Great experience. Not your usual amenities, like the hot water system requires figuring out. But you’re in an amazing garden amongst huge trees filled with birds. Very peaceful. The access is a bit of a trudge.
