Located a few minutes' walk from the centre of Châtel, the apartment offers a pleasant base to discover the region, summer and winter (access to the area by the free shuttle, stop 100 m away). You will find a small separate room with built-in cupboard, a bathroom and a living room open to the outside thanks to two large south and west-facing bay windows. A private and fenced garden completes the property, ideal for letting children and pets frolic.

The apartment is part of the annex built in 1950 at the paternal cottage. This cottage was built in 1850 by my great-grandfather, my grandparents lived there and my dad and his sister were born there. The apartment has been slightly renovated, it is furnished simply and functionally. In front of the chalet, there is a grassy plot, which was long the vegetable garden and the only source of income for my grandmother who became a widow prematurely.

In winter, it is possible to leave the chalet on skis to reach the bus stop towards Morzine or Avoriaz via free shuttles (stop close to the chalet). You can ski back from Avoriaz. Hiking trails from the chalet are accessible. Ideal for 2–3 people.
