In the winter, it is a great location for cross-country and downhill skiing enthusiasts. 5 minutes from the Val di Casies loop and the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. 15 minutes from the ski lifts of Plan de Corones and Sesto Tre Cime di Lavaredo. In 10 minutes you will reach Lago di Braies and Dobbiaco, in 15 minutes San Candido and Valdaora, and in 20 minutes Brunico.

From the balcony you can often watch various wild animals such as deer or hares scurrying out of the forest to graze. Enjoy the impressive chirping of birds while you relax on the lawn at the farm, let the farmers advise you about hiking possibilities or inquire about the numerous ski tour possibilities in the village.
