The Old Museum, Castle Combe

The Old Museum is a detached self-contained holiday home in the historic and picturesque village of Castle Combe. Situated in the lower village it is just short walk (200m) to the village centre with its pubs, cafe and restaurant. The Manor House Golf Club and Castle Combe Circuit are both within in walking distance and the footpath opposite connects up with a series of walks across the land of the Castle Combe Estate and beyond. The accommodation is designed in an open plan layout containing a bedroom area with queen size bed, living room area with a TV, sofa and log burning stove and a well-equipped kitchenette with a table and chairs. Our railway carriage is a renovated 1930's goods wagon with rustic charm; tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside with easy access to Bath. It has an exclusive driveway and parking spot at the end of our two acre garden. You will approach the carriage through a short woodland walk which is lit at night. Accommodation consists of a sleeping pod with a standard double bed and ample storage; central living area with small leather sofa, log burner and kitchen pod with a seperate shower room.
