Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Amanda’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway. The peaceful location on the river was ideal and the house has so much space and is laid out well for a larger group. Lots of places you gather together or get away to a quiet spot on your own. The deck down by the water was such a nice spot to gather with coffee or cocktails. We’ll be back if Amanda will have us!

Loved this quaint little cottage right on the lake. The view from the desk made working a pleasure, and mornings spent outside with a coffee watching the birds were a highlight. Super cozy and well-equipped, with everything you need. The size is perfect for a couple or small family. Great location near Lakefield—peaceful and scenic.

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. We had a great weekend spent at the cottage! Beautiful location on the lake that allows you to getaway from the crowds while still being close to Niagara Falls. The hosts were very responsive and the home was comfy and had everything needed for a weekend away. Definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

Robin’s cottage is by far one of my favorite places so far. They thought of everything. We spent a few days for a work retreat and had all we needed to make the week unforgettable. The views in the morning, the sunsets in the evening, fireplace right by the water, paddle boards, full kitchen… the list goes on. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. I am definitely going back!

We returned to Amanda and Josh’s after a wonderful visit last summer. The cottage remains absolutely beautiful - a very peaceful location. Amanda is super responsive and always there for any assistance. We highly recommend this luxurious get away!!!

The lake views from this quaint little cottage were breathtaking!! Cottage was very clean and ready for our arrival. Wonderful hosts, very accommodating. Shopping, ice cream and farm stands, wineries, restaurants, state parks and Niagara Falls all within a nice distance, not too far. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Everything was exactly as described a better. He communicated really well and answered questions very quickly. Had an amazing stay and looking forward to maybe going back in the future.

Our time at Lazy Bear Lakehouse on Buckhorn Lake was truly unforgettable. Tucked away in a serene and scenic spot, the cottage offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. The cottage was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, allowing us to settle in and enjoy from the moment we arrived. The view overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning—constantly shifting throughout the day with the changing light. The sunset was especially breathtaking, painting the sky and water in the most vibrant and calming hues. Although the hosts, Michelle and Ryan, were not on-site, they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Their thoughtful touches and clear communication made everything seamless and stress-free. Buckhorn Lake is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever visited. Whether it was morning coffee on the deck or quiet afternoons enjoying the stillness of the water. We love it!

Wonderful hosts, pristine clean, comfortable, beautifully renovated cottage on the lake. Our visit to the area was not for a happy occasion, but the lake house was perfect in every way for our stay. Simply could not have been any better! Fiver stars across the board.

We had such a great stay at Chamalee & Andrei’s place. The decorations were awesome, truly Santa’s little home off the water. We were super impressed with the abundance of games and DVD’s there were, as well as how tidy and organized (labeled) everything was. There really wasn’t a detail missed. The recommendations were super helpful and we appreciated their friendly and quick responsiveness.

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

Cannot recommend this cottage enough! Had a great time with my family, the apartment was fantastic, and the view was better than I could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

my friends and I had an amazing time at Pradeesh place. we loved the surroundings, how spacious is the cottage, the nature, and that it was so close from Ganaraska forest. we would definitely come back there for another friends trip!!!

This Airbnb was the perfect gateway during the long weekend. Edward and Vasuki have kept the house well equipped and super clean. There were endless activities to do and the water being so close provided for such peaceful vibes. Edward and Vasuki were also very responsive during our stay and helped us promptly when the water pump went out during a storm.

I would highly recommend this rental; by far exceeded expectations. The location was beautiful right on the lake with easy access to great restaurants and fun wine tasting experiences. The house itself is extremely well equipped with everything you might need. Jesse and Adria were super accommodating and very fast to respond. I would definitely come back. I would have given more stars.
