potomac overlook log cabin at Smoke hole with wifi

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

If you want a beautiful place to unplug and relax this is it. At least it was until the day before we left then neighbors show up and turn on music outside loudly then leave with it still on and do not come back. But that is not host fault. We loved watching the deer that came very close to house. River was very peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck. Host was very up front about WiFi it does come and go but that didn’t bother us at all.

What an awesome Airbnb experience! This home was clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful family trip. Nice touches included muffins, bourbon samples, a grill with charcoal, and a fire pit with wood. We cooked a lot and loved the kitchen! I enjoyed writing postcards and drinking coffee on the front porch. We played board games at the dining room table. Spent a lot of family time together in this very interesting and comfortable setting. We enjoyed learning about the history of the home and the area. Thank you for hosting us and I would definitely recommend this home.

This out of the way cabin has everything you need to get away from it all. A clean quilt place with lots of small amenities to keep you comfortable. We noticed that the pillows on the bed were an assortment of firmness to accommodate any comfort level. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with basic household items and an assortment of games and DVDs for down time. Awesome fire pit by a small creek.
