Outside comfortable covered seating area & cooking area with beautiful views. 3 acre Paddock attached. Chiminea. Inside fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, DVD and TV. Set in private grounds. 1.5 miles from Hay-on-Wye in a rural yet accessible area for all year round breaks. Private parking. Dogs welcome (see conditions)
What guests are saying:“We had a great weekend getaway at Lyndy's place for my boyfriends birthday. This was the ideal place for us to disconnect from a busy lifestyle, enjoy the nature and explore the area. We arrived quite late and Lyndy's son Elliot was there to give us a warm welcome together with Peggy, (if I remember correctly) their family dog. In the morning we had breakfast with the view of the rolling hills on the terrace. I quite liked that the sink and cooker was outside rather then in the room. We went around to explore, see the sheeps and little lambs and enjoy the fresh air. In the evening we used the fireplace outside with the wood provided and enjoyed a romantic dinner. Bed was very comfortable and really good shower. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

Superking size bed, wooden floors and ensuite shower and WC. Tea and coffee-making facilities provided. The room has a television, wifi and radio. Parking is via the alleyway shown in our photos which isn't suitable for massive vehicles, but to give you an idea, we have a Landrover Freelander 4x4 which is fine with the mirrors tucked in! We can easily direct you to alternative options nearby (including free) if needed.

Plenty of space, big bed, en suite and tea/coffee as well made our stay really relaxing - we enjoyed the Welsh cakes as well! Emma our host was really friendly and made sure we knew where everything was and that she would be there if anything cropped up. The central location meant we could easily walk to the pub to have an evening meal and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast the next morning in the Granary just opposite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the room and hope we can stay again some day.”
Cosy accommodation for two or four (with sofa bed) in a quiet village away from a main road. Open plan living area, fully fitted kitchen, bathroom comprises of bath with shower over. Amazing suspended decked area with sofa and dining area with views of the valley and forest. All bedding and towels are provided. Little Pentwyn is centrally heated, has wifi and free private off road parking. Ideally situated for Hay-on-Wye and plenty of local walks and pub within striking distance. What guests are saying:“We had a wonderful couple of nights at Little Pentwyn! Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. When we arrived they had provided some welsh cakes and the makings for tea and coffee. The annexe is beautifully and stylishly decorated, and very cosy! The shower was especially enjoyable after the horrendous weather we got caught in! Hay-on-Wye is a lovely village but as we arrived on the eve of Storm Dennis we didn’t get to see much! I especially recommend the Old Black Lion pub, however. I should especially mention Jo’s kindness in offering to extend her hospitality when it looked like we might not be able to drive home. Luckily we got home safely and I’m hoping they are all doing well in the wake of all the flooding! Would definitely recommend a stay in the lovely Little Pentwyn.”
