Holiday rentals with a patio in Clifton

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Amy and her place were lovely for our family of 4. With two littles it worked very well and Amy even had toys for us- we also used her provided pack n play and some baby essentials. King Bed was extremely comfy, moderately firm. Shower was very nice. Cozy, comfy, had everything we needed. Amy was very responsive and helpful. We would gladly come back! Thanks Amy!!

Wonderful stay! Location was great very close to metro. Lots to do in Old Town. Place was just as described and very clean! Would stay again!

I had a great stay here! I really loved that I was able to find a place that allowed me to travel with my dog! Great location, very close to everything in DC and great places in Arlington. 10/10 recommend!

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

I stayed in DC over 20 times in the past 20 years. I have to say Chris’s place was at the top of the list. I picked it because we were going to the Smithsonian zoo. Which was only a 8 minute walk to the Harvard walk in gate. The best restaurant within walking distance was ll Supremo Italian food. Very good for such a small place

Wir waren vier Wochen in Jillians Apartment und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Eine Busstation ist fußläufig in 7 Minuten erreichbar. Mit dem Bus ist man in 20 Minuten an der National Mall. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und haben immer einen Parkplatz auf der Straße direkt vor dem Haus gefunden. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Da sie im Sou­ter­rain liegt, gibt es leider nicht viel Tageslicht. Die Anreise konnte aufgrund des vorhandenen Zahlenschlosses individuell gestaltet werden. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Da wir über einen längeren Zeitraum da waren, bot Jillian uns eine kostenlose Zwischenreinigung sowie frische Bettwäsche an. Neue Handtücher wurden jederzeit auf Nachfrage zur Verfügung gestellt. Zudem durften wir Jillians Waschmaschine und Trockner verwenden. Jillian stand jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung und antwortete zeitnah.

This house is a great find - it has everything you need to feel right at home and the house and yard are beautiful. The house is extremely well appointed and well stocked. The common area furniture and beds are very comfortable. The gas fireplace was perfect for cool spring nights. The back yard porch was a great place to hang out with comfy furniture, 2 grills, sun umbrellas and a gas fire pit. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. Diana is one of THE BEST Airbnb or Vrbo hosts that we have ever had. She was very responsive, knowledgable, friendly and detail oriented. My wife left her glasses and she mailed them to us overnight. The location is excellent - the neighborhood is peaceful, but very close to the town center stores and activities. Falls Church has a small town feel but is close to all of the attractions of the Wash DC metro area. The house comfortably accommodated me, my wife, our son and grandparents; one-level living was great for grandparents.

A super convenient place for Quantico visitors. Place was clean and updated. Perfect for 2-3 people. Great for parents visiting son/daughter at Quantico.

Nice home with a Jacuzzi. We enjoyed the stay. The home is renovated so it was nice to have some modern finishings and furniture. Overall a great home and would recommend for anyone. The host was nice and communicated well and was available for anything we needed.

What a wonderful oasis. So easy to find and yet such a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We could easily get to Alexandria, to Dulles, to The Mall, and also to local parks like Green Springs Garden. It's also very close to several restaurants, grocery stores, etc. On a warm summer evening, sitting out on the back patio for our dinner was just delightful. We even saw a fox crossing the road one evening! Whenever we had a question about anything, Jon responded within minutes. All in all, this was the perfect house in the ideal location.

Wonderful home from Damien in Fairfax that was clean and cozy in a beautiful neighborhood. The home seemed to be attached to the property next door but there is very good privacy between the two. The walls may be shared but we had no problems with the noise other than a couple creaky floorboards. Everything else is just as advertised!

Lindsay’s place was perfect. She’s thought of every detail. There are two bedrooms upstairs (each with a bathroom) and one downstairs (also with a bathroom). Upstairs is the pullout sofa bed and downstairs there’s also another tv area with sofa (no pullout) you could sleep on if needed. Everyone loved the home, amenities, and views. The build quality is very high as such you can tell they also visit and enjoy the home themselves. The home is about 15 minutes from Charles Town, and about 25 from downtown Harpers Ferry, with scenic drives to each one. Lots of hikes, coffee shops, wineries and breweries nearby. She was super responsive and helpful all along. We would 100% come back.

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

No ghosts were seen or felt despite being a civil war hospital. Super cute place! Whoever decorated it did a lovely job… those vertical stripes on the walls and all white paint make the basement apartment feel large and airy despite having only a few small windows. Host was very nice and responsive with questions.

Ben’s place is exactly as described me and my family enjoyed our stay. I felt right at home, when I’m visiting my sister in the near future I will definitely stay again.
