There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

this is a perfectly remote little house. it was exactly what we expected from the posting. My wife my child myself and my dog had an easy time finding it enjoy the stars at night from the deck and a morning stroll the following morning or the goats came to say hi to us. The bed is comfortable and the decor gives some great vibes.

We enjoyed our stay in Clifton Forge. It was an easy 30 minute drive to Lexington and VMI. The house has been recently renovated and it was done well. The setup is perfect for a family, three bedrooms upstairs, kitchen, dining room and living room downstairs. We walked into town several times (just a couple blocks) to a local Deli and a pub. Both restaurants we tried we very good, love that they are local and not chains. Overall, this place worked out great for us, we would stay again. Thanks!

What an amazing stay! My fiance and I brought his parents up for 3 nights and we had a blast! We were close to stores and restaurants and there is a park across the street. We saw deer in the yard, enjoyed the views and reconnected. It was perfect for our family. The host was the friendliest I have encountered! We will be back!
