The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

Nice apartment in good location and quiet neighborhood. Easy to park on the street. One bedroom is downstairs by the entrance. The other bedroom (and rest of the apartment) is upstairs.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

The host replied quickly and provided flexible check in. The air bnb sat behind another home which gave us more privacy. If you are using navigation watch for incorrect directions. The area was quiet and calm. We brought our 2 dogs and the neighbors had dogs so there was some barking but they became friends through the fence. The furniture in the house was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, blankets, and sheets. The kitchen was stocked with several spices, utensils and dishes. There is a shopping center close with a frys, aldi, in n out, petsmart, car wash etc was very convenient.

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

Great location , if you are looking for a peaceful and quite with beach access, close to restaurants, not too far from downtown or airport, this is a great spot . Again just a reminder it is not the upscale area , more of a local experience. Felt safe and walkable to beach .

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. This was the second time that my family stayed at this AirBnB, and we absolutely love the condo's proximity to the beach. The condo itself is clean with all the basic essentials that you need... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooking supplies. Both of the times that we've stayed here the condo has been very quiet; we've never heard noise from neighbors. The condo community has several pools, hot tubs, and a tennis court plus the spectacular clubhouse with panoramic ocean views. There are lots of little coffee shops and places to walk to near the condo community and it's very family friendly. The mattresses and pillows are dated, but aside from that this condo is truly a gem.

So close to the beach and plenty of room in and out. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Awesome stay! Super clean and comfy

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place in San Diego! The condo was clean, centrally located and very spacious. The gated garage was awesome, and we loved staying on an upper floor with great views. We arrived very late in the night, and Kim was kind enough to stay awake to meet us with the keys and codes. We had a great time staying there during the long weekend!

I’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnbs and this was the cleanest! What a lovely stay. The view is spectacular as well.

Had a great stay! The lock of the main door is a bit strange and should be replaced, as well as the pillows of the bed, these should also be replaced. Otherwise, was nice and I would stay here again.

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Such an amazing place! My husband and I have been meeting up with our friends for 6 years now and this is the first time a kid has joined us. My son loved the beach and it was so nice to be so close and to have our own space but to also be able to walk to restaurants and things around. Kiran was so kind and was able to answer any questions we had very quick. We’ve already talked about going again!!

We had an amazing stay here!! Beautiful ocean views, the most wonderful beach nearby in walking distance, and the home was exactly as described. Everything was perfect and felt so luxurious. We cooked every day in the kitchen, and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked. We were grateful to have so many towels as we would go to the beach twice a day or more!! We didn’t get to use the pool because we were so busy, but what an added plus to have as an option! The bed was extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of spare linens/blankets if needed. The AC was so nice! Bathrooms were stocked and spotless! It was our first time staying somewhere with a washer/dryer in the unit, and now I can’t imagine ever staying somewhere without one!! Getting into the Airbnb and parking in the garage was so easy, and we appreciated Anne checking in on us. This is our favorite Airbnb that we have ever stayed at in California, and we hope to be back soon :) we were so impressed!!
