Monthly Rentals in Chuburna Puerto

The apartment is very nice and comfortable as shown in the photos, you can see the sunset and swim in the sea, the pool is a little small but you can also enjoy it. I recommend renting a car since there are no large stores to do the supermarket near the apartment and some locations are a little far away. If you want to have a delicious breakfast or dinner, the coffee house is a very good option. In the area you can take a taxi to some tourist areas not so far away, and in the park you can take a combi that can take you to Progreso for $15 pesos. Other than that, the accommodation is amazing, I recommend it.

My wife and I had a great stay here in Chuburná. The house was very clean, the pool well maintained, and the beach was a 30 second walk from the door. You can also look out at the ocean from the bedroom window which was a plus. The town is very quiet and safe, and the locals are all very friendly. Everything moves at a slower pace here and it feels very relaxed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Yucatán and stay near the beach!

This was our first vacation to Mexico with my wife, my 16-year-old son, his friend, and a family friend. Casa Mariposa easily accommodated us, with a casita especially suitable for the boys. The beach right out back and a fishing pier nearby were perfect (my son is an avid fisherman). The house was comfortable and well-equipped for cooking. Chuburna is unassuming, easygoing, and friendly, and has a few delightful restaurants. It's about a 20-minute drive to Progreso, the island's big "city" center, where one can find all the conveniences needed. Merida, within an hour's drive, is a charming colonial city well worth a trip in itself. My wife and our friend spent two days in a first-class boutique hotel. El Centro models itself after Paris and the Champs-Élysées. She loved it. We didn't travel around the peninsula, but easy day trips to cenotes and other ecological tours are worth checking out. Flying to/from Merida via the US East Coast was quick and uneventful.
