Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. We welcome dogs for a fee of £20 for up to 2 dogs per stay.

Wow, this is our 4th year. Its unbelievable that we have so far raised £24,000 for charity. Why not come and join us and help our local good causes. WE NOW HAVE HOT WATER AND A SHOWER...WOOHOO!!!! So many wonderful people have visited the New Forest and stayed with us in our Shepherds Hut and we love welcoming them. Sometimes surrounding yourself in nature is just what you need to give you balance. A perfect place to think and be yourself. Talk to the trees, they do listen!

Comfy Guest Annex: near Beach, Park& Tennis Courts

Our Guest Annex is a Studio with its own entrance, keysafe & parking infront. Upon entering the hall, there is a lounge with a sofa-bed, a smart TV, a kitchenette and a dining table. The king-sized bed is located at the back of the sunny room with large windows overlooking the back garden. Access to our washing machine, which is located in the main house, is available on request. Housekeeping is weekly, normally on Sundays, when your stay is 7days or longer.
