Our stay at Lou’s place was wonderful! The space is very clean and cozy, which was exactly what we were looking for. Lou also provided some local recommendations that made our experience in Christchurch incredible. Would highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay. It is all it says on the box and more. So peaceful, loved the Kererū flying around. The fire was what drew us to this cabin. Great on a cold night, so cosy. Lovely easy walk nearby at Hay's Reserve.

We loved our stay at Robyn’s Airbnb. It was located a short drive away from both the city centre and the airport. The Airbnb was very clean and a great size for the two of us and all of our luggage and the bed was super comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we drove onto the property.

Awesome place to stay. Warm and comfortable and quirky. Shower pressure was great and you can open up the top to look at the stars at night. Very clean and has everything you need to eat in, but great restaurant right next door and cafe 100m down the road. Will definitely come stay again.

Shaun and Vanessa’s b&b was exactly what we were looking for. My fiancé and I were visiting from Australia and were staying in a new b&b every night for our week holiday. Shaun and Vanessa’s place was the perfect place to wind down and had the most incredible views we had seen since arriving in NZ. We were unable to experience the spa as we had booked the room quite late but the overall experience we had with Shaun upon arriving, the spotless room with a bed so warm we had to sleep with a window open to let in the night breeze and the breathtaking views, this will be a regular place that we stay at for our future visits to New Zealand. Shaun had also suggested that we take a mini road trip to Lake Tekapo. We stopped on the way and got to see snow for the very first time and experienced the Lake Tekapo hot springs which was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Shaun and Vanessa for an incredible experience and making this our must stay place when we visit your beautiful country again.

Kaths Finca is in a beautiful garden setting, a very peaceful and relaxing environment. We're looking forward to staying again.

A good place to stay for budget room. The room itself is very nice and clean. A bit far from supermarket and convenience stores. But if you got a car there’s no problem.

A very nice and cosy stay which was close to all the sights, it was clean and tidy with nothing to complain about :)

A very relaxing and tranquil getaway with all the home comforts. Bed and linen were very comfortable. The twin baths on the deck were a nice vantage point for stargazing. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from the cellar door with a cheese board while we watched the sunset from the private deck. Can’t wait to come back.

Shelley was kind enough to let me book this accommodation very last minute and responded super quick to help me out of a bit of a pickle. All I can say is that I came up trumps! Quail’s Nest is a beautiful studio with gorgeous views of the bay and SO peaceful and relaxing I genuinely didn’t want to check out! If you want a night or two to completely escape and feel at peace this is an ideal place. As a solo traveller this was perfect and Shelley and Tom made me feel very welcome and there if I needed them. They even asked me if I would like some fresh asparagus from their vegetable garden which tasted better than anything I have bought in a supermarket! The only thing to be aware of is that it is a very hilly area, the coastal walk may not be for the faint hearted (I tried but turned back 😀) and the walk to Church Bay is relatively quick but is ascending on the way back 😀 absolutely worth it though, amazing secluded little bay. Would not hesitate in staying here again.

What a spot! A short drive from Christchurch and we are in a dense native bush with the sound of birds and a rushing water. The cabin has everything we need and very relaxing. Just out the door is a beautiful pathway that leads along a small river to a waterfall. We found our way climbing up a trail to the top of the hill, this was really nice. The hosts were very accomodating and helped charge a torch and assist with any issues. Most impressed and will be back soon!

Brie's place is seriously a gem. Waking up opening the door overlooking the balcony to the backyard farm was quite spectacular for a city guy. Everything is clean and perfect. The design of the interior makes it feel like home. I find that just by looking both outside and inside the house, brings a certain calm and peace. This is the where the value lies. It's also just the right distance to go to town (by car). And the apples in front, is really sweet and fragrant, almost like a perfume. We took one and ate it, it was amazing. I wish I knew it sooner so that it can be our breakfast (if allowed by Brie, ofc). To put it simply, it's the best blend of nature and modern. Seamless transition between inside and outside. This is one of the best place I've ever stayed on.

An amazing spot to spend some perfect days in Christchurch / South New Bristol. The beach is directly vis-à-vis which makes it special. The outdoor bathtub is a nice Extra Feature!

A lovely find in Christchurch. Quiet location but walkable to both the city and Merivale. Cottage was really cute, had a well equipped kitchen and one of the best showers we've had at a holiday rental in a long time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and will equipped. The location was great, quiet but just a few houses away from restaurants, shops and a transit stop. Kim provided information on things to do and places to see. She communicated quickly to any questions and requests. A 5 star accommodation, a 5 star host and a 5 star location.
