Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chindrieux

Martine welcomed us warmly to her very well-equipped and as-described accommodation. We felt right at home and our baby acclimated very well. Our host is not stingy with advice and recommendations about the area. In love with the area, we will definitely come back to this little nest!

The house is rather unusual - tall and thin - but very cleverly designed with the sitting room and two of the bedrooms with fabulous views the lake. It’s only 100 yards down to the lake where we swam every day. Talloire village is about 3kms away We all agreed it was a lovely house and we would definitely stay there again.

We came in and felt right at home! The nice decor, the beautiful courtyard and the great pool enchanted us. The equipment is absolutely sufficient and all important devices are available. The barbecue is particularly cool, and you can even use it on rainy days under the covered area of the yard. You can feel completely comfortable and relax in the beautiful accommodation. In the area, you can pursue many different activities and enjoy the great nature. Evening walks can also be started directly from the house. An absolutely successful holiday! Nadine is a very welcoming and caring host. The old stone house is beautiful and keeps a pleasant coolness inside, even when it is very hot outside. We didn't even need the air conditioning provided. The garden is splendid, with several sitting areas and large parasols that allow you to enjoy the outdoors at any time of the day. Inside, everything is provided for a comfortable stay. There were coffee pods, toilet paper, soap, dishwashing liquid, spices and lots of other very practical little things. For our little girl, Nadine had prepared a cot, a bathtub and a high chair. This gesture really made our lives easier. Following a storm, we had some temporary problems with the Wi-Fi, but Nadine immediately reacted and did what was necessary to resolve it quickly. We had a great stay and recommend this house!

The most amazing spot! We had the most perfect stay with our 2 year old son. The house was exactly as described and spotless with the bonus of parking. The host was so helpful and very gracious, despite our timekeeping. The terrace was superb with stunning sunset views. We loved driving along to Talloires which had great restaurants, along with an amazing boulangerie (Le Fournil de mon Père). The beaches in Talloires and Angon were great. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

What can I say? Of all the Airbnbs we have stayed in on this trip (9 in all) this is where I was the happiest. Not that there was anything wrong with the other places, but this renovated grange had all the charm of years gone by with the modern necessities that are so appreciated when travelling. Frédérica and Gilbert are the most charming people, so very kind and generous with their time but not intrusive in the least. They were kind enough to allow me to extend our stay by one day as I was too unwell to travel to the next destination and even did some emergency food shopping for us. The house is superb - renovated with flair, elegance and typical French charm. We lacked for absolutely nothing, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and the linen/towels etc were impeccable. Plus the shower pressure was a dream after a long day! We could see the lake from our window, but everything was close by. I recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants a happy holiday!

Such a great space, very cozy and comfortable, covered deck areas to enjoy what ever the weather. good parking and we loved the pool. Sophie was a great host and we would happily stay again.

The accommodation was perfectly in line with the description: clean, well-equipped and pleasant. The host was very welcoming and responsive throughout the stay. The linen was impeccable, and we particularly enjoyed the little touches such as the coffee available, the maps of nearby restaurants and the bottle of fresh water on arrival. Thank you again!

One of those ‘even better than expected’ places on Airbnb. Modern, clean, well designed apartment with amazing views over the lake. Location is great - walkable to a number of lake beaches and the village. Host is super responsive and super helpful! Would 100% stay again! 🤍

Marie-Laure's room immediately gives you the impression of being at the "house ", it is very well decorated and really very clean. you can drop off your car in the area and do everything on foot during your stay, in an ideal location! In addition, the room is in an old palace with a beautiful lobby, large stairs and huge hallways....I love it! I would definitely come back!

Everything was great! Fabrice's very warm welcome, the brand new studio is of very high quality and the equipment ( kitchen, bathroom, etc...) better than we can hope for.... even with very pleasant touches ( coffee, herbal tea, condiments etc .) Recommended +++ only regret not having enjoyed it longer ...

We had a wonderful stay at Jordan’s place. It’s in a peaceful location, yet just a short 10-minute walk to the town with restaurants, a bakery, and shops. We’ve traveled around quite a bit in Europe, but this was one of the few places where we truly felt at home. Our kids especially loved the upper floor with the toys, which was such a thoughtful touch and made a big difference for us. The area is perfect for exploring by car, and while we only managed to see the highlights this time, we’re definitely planning to come back for a longer stay. Thank you so much, Jordan. ❤️

We had a very nice and relaxing time in this apartment with the wonderful panoramic terrace. What was not visible in the photos: She also had a spacious covered terrace on the side of the house! 🤩 The apartment is very well equipped and very comfortable.

Magical property. Very special Airbnb experience.

2-night stay: I recommend Alain's studio, very bright, beautiful view of the mountain and also of the overhead car park, large studio with everything you need (bed linen, coffee, internet). The plus: a closed garage in the basement, for a small vehicle such as a 208. Located in the city centre, everything is done on foot. The only downside is that the residence is built on a slope, so the ground floor is not the ground floor but the minus 1, so it's difficult to find your way from the basement to the exit. I did not meet Alain (independent arrival) but as soon as I had a question, he responded very quickly by text or call.

Beautiful little place to visit the region, but a little far from the centre to go on foot. Very good communication with Marie Claire if it wasn't a little rigid on departure times... but I recommend it!

Excellent stay at Virginie's, the apartment is comfortable and very clean. We would recommend it unreservedly!

We had the most wonderful stay, Séverine was incredibly welcoming and even arranged for us to be picked up from the station! On arrival in the apartment we were given a detailed tour and they accompanied the welcome with a gift box which was very kind! The apartment itself is gorgeous and the additions of the tennis court and swimming pool included make it incredible value for money, not to mention the apartment being only a 20-30 minute walk from both the lake and the town! We cannot recommend enough!

Great stay at Maryline's! The accommodation was perfectly as described, clean, comfortable and in a good location. The welcome was warm and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this accommodation and I will not hesitate to come back during my next visit to Aix-les-Bains.

We had a pleasant weekend at Véronique's place. She is very helpful and suggested many activities and addresses for our weekend. The accommodation is very nice, we were able to go from the accommodation to the city centre and also to the lake.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tony's accommodation. Everything was very clean and the apartment was very cozy. He provided us with a cot and a high chair for our baby and there were also board games, children's tableware, basic things for breakfast and cooking, cleaning products... Those things that make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. A highly recommended accommodation and host😊
