Slow down and experience country life on our little plot of land. The cottage is located on our 6 acre property with a tree-lined view with cows in the pasture from the front porch and a sweet view of the ducks in the pond and sheep grazing from the bedroom window. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, a cat, and chickens. There might be occasional barking. If prolonged, we will bring them in. Fully stocked kitchen. There is always plenty of coffee, coffee creamer, and homemade scones for breakfast.

The Cottage at Acqua Dolce

The cottage at Acqua Dolce is an adorable studio located just behind our 1827 home in the historic district of Sweetwater. Our 3 acre property is wooded with many magnificent trees and a small creek making it a park-like setting while being in town. Great for visitors of all types with easy access to shopping, hiking, white water rafting, fishing and much more. We are near many destinations including, The Smokey Mountains, Tail of the Dragon, The Lost Sea and numerous wineries .

Creek View Casita - Detached Studio!

Creek view casita is a perfect retreat for 2, plus we welcome your furry family member with a pet fee. This unique living area offers a comfortable queen bed, a quaint breakfast nook, lounging area, and a full bath (tub/shower). The top of the “Casita” is the Airbnb. The bottom of the building we do not rent. This building is not attached to the main home. There is a shared creek front area with a fire pit. We are conveniently located to McCaysville and Downtown Blue Ridge.

Both bedrooms have access to the comfortable full bath. Close to local wedding venues, The SHED at Harley Davidson, Ft. Loudoun Lake/Dam/Marina, Knoxville, McGhee¹ Tyson Airport, and Smoky Mountains. Same place with a new exterior look. This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand.

This quiet little quest house is only 6 miles from Dayton. Five boat ramps are located within a 6 mile radius. We will do our very best to make your stay as enjoyable as we can and will provide contact information for cleaning or linen service at check in. There is plenty of room for a boat under the adjacent carport. Outdoor electrical is also available.

Peaceful and relaxing safe place. Great walking and hiking areas. Private secured entrance with a unique code for entry for each guest. Minutes to Watts Bar Lake & TN RIVER. Ten minutes to Watts Bar boat ramp. We are not within walking distance of restaurants, etc. but only a few minutes away by driving.
