Cabin holiday rentals in Chestnut Mountain

The cabin is perfect for a large family or for a group of friends. It has everything you need for active rest, including a nice firepit, grill, hot tub, pool table, games, multiple TV's and well equipped kitchen. The location is privat and quite but within 15-30 minutes from multiple great wineries, restaurants, hiking trailes and waterfalls. We hope to be back someday.

Great place for what we needed! It is off a busy road, but the house is very far back from it, so the noise is not a problem, and all the house features and amenities are what you need!

Michelle’s place was beautiful. She was very responsive and had clear instructions for everything. One word that stood out for me as I stayed at Michelle’s cabin and interacted with her was PROFESSIONAL; in every way! Her home was run so well. Honestly one of the best air bnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. So many things well thought through such as labels for certain things, towels for the dogs when they come in wet. Stick to use for roasting at the fire pit. These are a few of many 5 star accommodations. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a really good time. We weren’t too far from Helen but definitely a little more than a 15 minute drive into town and grocery store. We feel incredibly lucky and blessed to got to have stayed at this air bnb’s and would definitely look for this host again in the future!!!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! The location to downtown and view were fantastic. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the playroom was such a nice touch for the kids & fenced yard was wonderful for our dog! One thing worth mentioning if traveling with multiple families with kids - the master bedroom upstairs is a loft set up & there is no barrier to prevent noise. We had my son’s sound machine so it wasn’t a problem but you can definitely hear everything up there! We had such a special family vacation and can’t wait to come back one day!

We had a great time at this lovely and wonderfully secluded home on Lake Lanier. There is so much to do and would be a great place to bring kids, I'm already planning another trip with my niece and nephew. There's a mini putt putt course, arcade games, ping pong, board games, SUPs and kayaks! My favorite part was how quiet and private it is - the perfect spot for a little getaway. It's about a minute walk downhill from the house to the lake (might take a little longer for much older family members but I think still doable). There's obviously a little more noise and activity on the lake where you can actually see some neighbors but it was still mostly very peaceful and relaxing. The place itself was very clean and Amy was super helpful/responsive. My husband loved all the coffee options. Looking forward to another visit sometime!

Our family of 6 came to spend one night and get rest on our drive through for vacation to Florida. The cabin was just as described and had plenty of space for everyone. We got in really late then had a hard time finding food nearby so needed to drive about 37 minutes one way to get food then back at 1am. This was nothing negative on the cabin but I didn't realize how farthe cabin was from the main gate. We lived our stay and had deer right by the driveway. I would recommend coming and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We absolutely LOVED staying here! Our family was able to spread out well, with every floor having its own full bathroom. This home is not only clean, but well-maintained, which isn’t always the case. The weather was rainy and stormy during our stay but we had an amazing time relaxing on the covered, comfy decks outside and playing games inside. The home is well-stocked, and just as the photos describe. The only things you need to bring, are your toiletries (as mentioned in the description) and towels for the hot tub. The town of Talking Rock is LOVELY! We enjoyed lunch and drinks down at Talking Rock Brewery, followed by shopping at the stores with the most FRIENDLY merchants! Definitely make sure to spend an afternoon there! We also got to experience live music and the wonderful hospitality of Canoe Vineyards, which was on the way into town. We couldn’t recommend this home more highly and are looking forward to hopefully coming back in the future! Thanks for hosting us!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

I write and teach for a living, so Airbnb is my home away from home. I am not exaggerating when I say this was a top five stay for me. The property is pristine, private, and close to anything you'd want to do in Dahlonega and Helen. It's a dream. As for the area, we ventured out to the closest winery relative to the property and immediately made friends with "Insta**** celebrities" who were trying to capture the best of the area. While we don't care about all of that, it shows you that Frank's place is in the middle of a beautiful, sought after area where people travel many miles to simply get a picture. The cabin felt like home. It had everything we needed for a weekend, but we could've stayed for a month and would've still felt entertained, engaged, and at peace. Book this place now. We had an amazing stay. The cabin was perfect for us for our daughter’s graduation week. The property was so peaceful and it was lovely to sit out in the porch with coffee and watch the deer in the morning. Everything was exactly as described and we appreciate how responsive Crystal was. I highly recommend this property!

Holy crap! We LOVED this little cabin. It was exactly what we needed for our vacation. Samantha and Joe are rockstars when it comes to communication and recommendations. And I cannot recommend their cabin enough. The little creek crossing might be tough for a really low sports car, but I’d say most regular cars could get across very easily. It is so lovely and secluded! The porches are wonderful, the forest canopy was gorgeous, and it might have inspired us to move to the mountains. No joke. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay and Chris was very helpful and accommodating. He worked to make our stay perfect for our family. The view from the deck was stunning and we even saw a mama bear with 2 cubs. The house and community offered a wide variety of activities and experiences and my adult children said they would be happy to come back sometime. It was just what our family needed.

This was a top notch vacay! The space is open and has an amazing view. My favorite part was the gas fire pit, just a few feet from the back door. All the amenities are amazing! Plenty of room for parking if you have more than just 2 people. The only thing missing was coasters for setting drinks down. (I hate water rings on furniture) I highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

What can I say, if you’re lucky enough to run across Hidden Haven on Airbnb do not hesitate to book it. Words and pictures do not do it justice; it is everything and then some. From the cozy bed and furniture to the screened patio area and different spots throughout the property to just relax, it is magical. The top deck with the pool, hot tub and summer kitchen is great, especially the hot tub. The deck below is beautiful to just sit and listen to nature or some music while the fire burns, or take a walk. Inside is the perfect size, with everything you need to cook, relax and have fun with your love. Connect to the Apple TV and play some music on a sweet speaker setup. We didn’t want to leave and I’m sure we will be back, it was that great. Everything is clean and well taken care of. You can tell the owners spent a lot of time and thought in designing and creating a truly majestic retreat, no detail is overlooked. If you’re looking for a getaway this is the place to stay.

Jim’s Farm House was beautiful, the surroundings were so nice and very peaceful, yet still close to town. The deer visiting each day was a nice surprise as well. My husband and I enjoyed our quick trip while our son was at UGA. I did look for a washer and dryer to wash some things before returning home, NOT a deal breaker the property didn’t have one just a mention. Overall the house was just as described, beautiful and the owners are very responsive. Super helpful! 10/10

This was hands down the best Air Bnb experience we have ever had. The host was kind, responsive, and went the extra mile to make sure my family and I were cared for and had the best possible experience. The cabin met every expectation. It was cozy with a modern feel. The walk to the river exceeded our expectations. The drive up to the cabin was filled with spectacular views of mountains, rolling hills, deer, and cows. If you are looking for a getaway off the beaten path… this is it. We will be coming back! You won’t regret this stay! Absolutely AMAZING!

Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. A short drive to many local things to do - Amicalola, Montaluce winery, Atlanta Motorsports Park. Loved the couch area in the master bedroom.

Shawn was a great remote host. Provided clear and simple instructions. Property was very well appointed and exactly as expected.
