Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

We have just stayed here for our honeymoon, eckington is so beautiful!! it’s a great little lodge to stay in & the hot tub is an added bonus and great after long days of walking etc. it was a good hub for all the outside activities most places like chatsworth, Bakewell, hardwick hall, Matlock and so on were between 20-40mins drive away so perfect for the day trips out. There were some lovely pubs and a little Italian in the village & Aldi is literally around the corner to stock up the fridge! The lodge itself was very clean, and a well equipped kitchen for at home meals/lunch making for days out. The only addition I would say that a spare blanket would be lovely for when chilling on the sofa! Rebecca was wonderful and anything you needed she was more than happy to accommodate! Would 100% recommend for a doggie or non doggie holiday away 🦮🐶

Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

Beautiful caravan in a stunning location Ashbourne heights caravan park is lovely, very well maintained. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable and cosy, decking with chairs is a great addition especially with the weather we had. Walking from the door step, we did Thor’s cave circular and stepping stones, tissington trail is just off the site entrance so no need to drive anywhere. Honestly one of the best family weekends we have had will be booking again in the future ❤️

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Lovely cosy house which was clean and tidy. This was our second stay at Homestead and we will be coming back.

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

Absolutely superb break away in Lokis Lodge. Stunning interior and truly home from home . Location is also immaculate and great for your fur babies country walks. We had a very restful break and will be returning to explore what we hadn’t got time to see ! Sarah is an amazing host xxx

Lovely place to stay, house and location was beautiful. Host was so welcoming and friendly. The animals on the little farm was such a lovely touch. We had an amazing time, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Loved our stay, very accommodating, very quiet and cosy. Easy to find and a lovely pub nearby for food. Sadly couldn’t use the pool due to having the dog with us but looked great! Very reasonably priced and nice little farm shop on site. A lovely stay! Also brilliant communication. Thanks

Lia's cottage was really lovely. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and with a great sized garden. The location was peaceful, in a nice little village. Lia was really helpful and communicated well. I'd happily recommend the stay.

We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). We throughly enjoyed our idyllic stay at Wagon Lea. It was unbelievably peaceful and the views were stunning. The wagon is fitted out to a high standard and has everything you need. Ruth was very friendly and incredibly helpful. A perfect get away. We wished we didn’t have to leave and are already planning our return trip. Thank you Ruth, what an incredibly special place you have.

We have just returned from a stay at The Stables. We both loved the accommodation and the location. The hosts made us feel very welcome and there was some lovely touches inside for when we arrived. The location is very peaceful and tucked away but also within walking distance of several pubs all serving good quality food for reasonable prices. We would recommend and come back again without question.

Have stayed in the area before, but first time at the Hideaway, the secure parking was a great selling point, but the property looked good as well. All on the one floor as well, which for me was an added bonus. After a nightmare 6 and half hour drive, was grateful to be able to make a cuppa and have a stretch. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of supplies for the toilet / shower.

Excellent value for money. The property was clean and comfortable. The road was very quiet. The location is great for the Peaks. I would definitely stay there again. it is sn easy walk to the town centre for pubs and restaurants.

Great property in a lovely location walks right from the door. Joanne was extremely helpful when the Internet cable was damaged by a tree. Hope to return for another stay and would definitely recommend to others.

What a beautiful cottage and garden. Lots of space, character, and flexibility of use. Well stocked, useful kitchen and comfortable, longe, dining room and bedrooms. Lots of extras such as games, kitchen welcome pack and even dog treats! For us, perhaps the standout was the beautiful, sizeable gardens where we started and ended each day with morning coffee, sundowners and, happy hounds. Would heartily recommend, and hope to return.
