Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chester

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

I had a relaxing couple of days at Annes place, the house was as described in the advertisement and had everything you would need for a stay. Close by to local restaurants/ shops giving you different options during your stay.

Our stay at The Whale House was perfect! Located in the heart of Nova Scotia’s South Shore, this stunning home is a true treasure! It offers breathtaking views of a peaceful dock filled with boats and sailboats. Gretha was a fantastic host—her directions were clear, & her warm, flexible approach to check-in made us feel immediately at ease. Gretha was incredibly responsive & helpful throughout our stay, always just a message away. The home is immaculate & tastefully decorated with charming whale-themed accents. The cozy pillows & unique artwork add character & coastal charm. We loved the spacious kitchen, especially the oversized island where we enjoyed family meals and games. The large entryway, comfy beds, and thoughtful details made it feel like home. The location was ideal—close to beaches, waterside restaurants, shopping, & the famous Shore Club lobster supper. We woke each morning to the sound of song birds! We’re so grateful to Gretha for sharing her beautiful home with us.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb and it was everything we had hoped for. A great location close to towns, very clean, quiet, had all the amenities you needed and it made you feel right at home and spoiled at the same time since it was a really nicely furnished, decorated and clean home. The fire table and hot tub were great! A nice touch to relax in the evening. The beds were comfy and the showers nice and hot. Yes, there are bugs but you are right by the ocean and the bugs don't bother you so it's really no biggie. The views and tranquility were well worth it. Great recommendations for Lunenburg too! I'd highly recommend staying here!

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

I'm sure I'm just re-iterating what has already been said many times, but, What a Peaceful, Beautiful Place! We spent many hours just hanging out; walking the gardens and down by the river. It was tough to drag oneself out to enjoy the other local attractions, the restaurants, beaches, etc. The care & love they've put into this location is obvious. We should have booked for longer, and we will be back.

This is a special home and one of our favorite Airbnb stays. The house is beautiful The grounds are also lovely. Our kids loved playing in the yard and rolling down the hill. Great kitchen and space. We loved the original beams and artwork throughout the house. We loved the TV room and DVD collection for family movie night. The location is excellent. We really enjoyed nearby Bayswater beach. It was also a great jumping off point for trips to Chester, Luneberg, and Peggy’s Cove. Highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting a tranquil stay in a beautiful and welcoming home in NS.

Location, location, location! You can’t pick a better place for peaceful trip to Peggy’s Cove. Easy walk down to light house and shops. Kitchen has everything to cook and enjoy meals on patio. You also are not too far to drive to other towns to visit for day trips.

This host went above and beyond to get me in with an unscheduled booking - short notice! They rushed a cleaning and made me feel very welcome. And they gave me flexibility on checking out times. Friendly. Accommodating. Great value. Great location and a lovely airy relaxing space.

Hey this place was great,very beautiful place and the neighbours were great and very friendly and didn’t mind the kids being there at all actually talk to them and let them Pat their dog. I will be coming back when I stay in Halifax,if it’s available.

This might be my favourite AirBNB of all time. If you’re looking for an authentic East Coast-esque yet modern and cozy spot nestled in the heart of Downtown Halifax, this is the place. The ceilings are low— tall people be wary of that— but it’s so insanely perfect otherwise. The hosts have really created something special in this historical unit, and you’ll be comfortable here without a doubt (plus will save a fortune in Ubers with how walkable literally everything is while you’re here). Additional win: they’re the kind of hosts that actually let you be a guest, and don’t require you to clean out the wahoo before your departure. 11/10!!

A great stay. Loved the architectural uniqueness of the apartment. Lunenberg is a surprising discovery for those like me who hadn’t heard much about it before visiting. Great fish/ lobster restaurants close by. And the whale watching tour was only a short walk away.

Absolutely gorgeous pristine property with a beautiful fire pit and seating area. Great little walking trail that surrounds the property and follows along a brook. The hosts had every light clearly labeled in the house for which was which this was great when your unfamiliar with the spot. The hosts had clear instructions posted on the door how to access the walking trail, how to start the BBQ, how to start the firepit. Although not beach weather during my stay the airbnb was equipped with beach chairs a cooler and beach toys and boogie boards for guest use and also was all Clearly labeled stating so. Bathroom had extra "if you forget" toiletries. Small coffee area fully stocked with small snacks and espresso machine with full stock of pods. Another great feature was the bedroom had a small rechargeable fan you could use as hand held or lay on your pillow if your a fan person I loved this. Definetly recommend this airbnb and the hosts 5*

This was a lovely place to have a relaxing and peaceful getaway! The house was spotless, one of the cleanest places I've stayed at! The view of the lake was beautiful and it was lovely to have the option to use the kayaks and paddle boards! The chickens were great to watch and you couldn't hear them inside the property at all! I would recommend Victoria's Air bnb to anyone in the area! I look forward to staying here again in the future!

The apartment exceeded our expectations it was even better in person than in the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, so we didn’t have to bring anything extra. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows provided. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, it was a 10/10 stay. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful stay. The property is so beautifully landscaped by Bruce and Leesa. You can see the love and care they put into it. The inside was no exception. It felt warm and inviting. Leesa and Bruce are wonderful people. Very friendly and put us at ease right away. Really really nice couple. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed. On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!

Jordan's villa was absolutely stunning. The expansive space had beautiful rooms, and surpassed all expectations. The photos depicted a lovely spot but it was even more incredible in person. Is is beautifully decorated, absolutely immaculate and had every possible amenity one could think of. It was a wonderful stay for us and I highly recommend a visit! It could not have been any more perfect!

The Breakwater is spectacular! We stayed in the Lobster Pound for four magical nights. Waking up to the sun pouring in the huge windows facing the bay was thrilling every morning! Inside the place was perfect: tastefully and thoroughly equipped to meet all our needs. We especially appreciated the binoculars, the motorized shades to maximize our privacy/views and Stew and Cheryl’s personal recommendations for sites and seafood!

It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Can’t say enough about this place. Impeccable with a beautiful ocean view and peaceful surroundings. A lovely little welcome gift was a special touch. Cheryl and Stew came by to introduce themselves and they were very kind and welcoming. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable was thought out. The quality of the villa was outstanding and so beautiful it truly is one of a kind! It was our second stay but won’t be our last!
