Nicola and Peter are great hosts: caring, available and always listening. Their warm welcome immediately makes them feel comfortable. The place is beautiful, quiet, very well furnished and invites you to relax. We felt good there from the first few moments. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a change of scenery and a real break. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Marie Thérèse, a friendly and kind lady. The cottage was impeccable and we had a pleasant surprise, because it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Marie Thérèse even left us fresh eggs for breakfast. The place is full of charm, with a vegetable garden and chickens in an enclosure. It is a quiet place, close to Arnay-le-Duc, where you can find markets and other shops. The children loved the place. We intend to return to discover more of the surroundings, which we did not have time to visit because we only stayed three days. I 100% recommend it to those who love tranquility and warm comfort.

We stayed at Blandine's place to break up the drive from Calais down to the south of France. Blandine was so friendly and a great host. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated with a very well-equipped kitchen. It is worth noting that the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and narrow, this wasn't a problem for us at all but may be tricky for guests with mobility issues or small children. The little village is absolutely gorgeous, the canal is perfect for walks and runs, and the views of the castle are stunning. there are a few small restaurants and also a spa. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer!
