Holiday rentals with a kayak in Chautauqua Lake

My family loved staying at Leslie's house! It offers a stunning view of the lake and is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The house is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with plenty of towels, kayaks, indoor and outdoor games, and more. I highly recommend it for a family vacation and would love to stay there again! Oh, and Leslie is an excellent host -- super friendly and provides every last detail you will need. Thank you, Leslie!

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

Location- We were excited to find this home. My husband and in laws were coming to town to snowmobile. My daughter and I wanted to tag along, but needed a place to stay during the day. It was perfect for this! They were able to ride the snowmobiles right from the house and jump on the trail. There was a cute diner in town and a library that we visited during the day. Host- I messaged the host ahead of time to see if a late check out was available. They answered quickly and were able to accommodate at a more than fair price. Also, the unthinkable happened during our visit. I ran outside to the load the car in the frigid weather and got locked outside while my daughter was inside. Not only did the host answer my frantic call, they were at the home WITHIN MINUTES to unlock the door. Home- The house had all the essentials for our stay (including a pack n play). At first we thought the cleaning fee was steep, but the pristine house upon arrival made it definitely worthwhile. 5 stars!

Elizabeth's house was perfect for our family of 5! The house was clean, smelled nice and had so many amenities. We appreciated not needing to bring paper towels, toilet paper, etc. with us. The outdoor space is great and well kept. My family enjoyed the hammocks, swimming in the lake and fishing off the dock during the day and bonfires in the evening. We loved visiting the ice cream shop across the street. Elizabeth was so kind and responsive. She went out of her way to have the dock installed prior to our stay. Don't pass up this amazing house or host! Memories to last a lifetime!!

We had a great time at Sara's place. Our kids, aged 7 and 10, particularly loved the swing, biking to the park, and playing in the spacious yard. We did a lot of cooking and were grateful that the kitchen was well-equipped, the dining table could accommodate all of us, and that Wegmans was nearby. We hope to come back soon!

Chad and Tonya's place was amazing and even better than the photos. Beautiful and private property. We came here for a winter weekend, and it was very peaceful. The place was clean, and the amenities were accurately described in the listing. The whole experience, including communication and check-in, makes it one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.

We planed a LAST moment trip with our family. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids of multiple ages and we ALL had an amazing time and comfortable stay. We love Bemus point as a location and went and enjoyed walks around town and the sunset. Debbie was an absolute pleasure and a very gracious host. We loved her dog as well and will definitely book here again.

Great place, looking forward to my next visit to the Jamestown area and stay here.

As other reviewers have said, Cynthia has a great little get-away. We changed arrival plans/departure plans and she was very accomdating to each request. Really enjoyed the cats, they are very friendly. Beware, the stairs to the upstairs living area are bit tricky to navigate, especially when carrying a bag.

Another wonderful stay at an amazing home & a gracious host!

Perfect weekend stay for my husband and I. The inside is pretty. Bed is comfy. I saw the most amazing sunrise Saturday morning! It does get super hot upstairs so you need to follow the instructions that are left on the fridge. Favorite spots: Johnson Estate winery & Truffle Honey (it is close & it was delicious)!

Great place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing. It was wonderful to have access to the kayaks and canoes. Also, a decent size table. Kitchen had adequate supplies.

This cottage was exactly what we needed to do some ice fishing and to go tubing at peek n peek resort. I would love to go back in the summer months to relax and enjoy the Lake view from the porch.

We had a good time staying at Heather and John's lake home in Bemus Point. You cannot beat the location regarding short travel times to area destinations. The house's living space has an open layout to encourage gathering which is nice. The hosts are familiar with the area, will meet you at check-in, and are available to answer questions you may have throughout. Compared to a lot of rentals by Lake Chautauqua, Heather and John's place is affordable to stay at for more than a weekend. Overall, a calm, relaxed getaway for your family. Here are a couple things not in the listing that are helpful to know up front when booking: 1. The house's water source is well water. This is typical for most houses in the area, but it does mean reduced water useage during your stay. 2. One bedroom (bed with white quilt in photos) has the washer/dryer in it and the door leading through to the back. 3. To get to the dock and to walk the neighborhood, you will walk down/up a decent incline.

We had a nice stay here while visiting family and friends in the area. My family enjoyed the lakefront. Lots of things to do nearby, also necessities not far from this location. We even got to visit with Jim and Ulrike for a short time. They are friendly and accomodating hosts.

Cozy little cottage that is close to nearby attractions - comfortable and clean. Nice spot to stay, but the long driveway is slippery after heavy snow, not recommended unless you have an AWD vehicle. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing cabin in the woods. Beautiful location with huge yard. Will stay here again when we travel through the area.

This was a last minute booking when our winter cabin reservation had to cancel. It turned out great! Beautiful, comfortable, very well stocked log home that had everything we needed and more! Pond was skateable at edge and the hill next to the house was perfect for sledding. Our grandkids had a ball! Dianna quickly responded to all our inquiries and they even made it possible to get a campfire started . Thank you!

Such an amazing getaway for my Fiancé’s birthday weekend. He said it was one of the best trips he had in a while. We loved using the kayaks in the pond and hiking around the area. My dogs had an absolute blast swimming and playing. The cabin was extremely clean and did have a hose out front making it easy to wash off our dogs before they came inside after playing. Ashley was super responsive and helpful and left us a nice note and sweet treat to start the weekend which felt very welcoming. Location still felt very private even with the other house on the road. We definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderfully secluded cabin with an amazing view of the pond and surrounding farm. Carrie and Ken were wonderful hosts, that have furnished a cozy little cabin.
