Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chautauqua Lake

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The property was excellent and the amenities were spot on. It is a very charming and comfortable home. The location is perfect, can walk across the street to the lodge and lifts. I will booking again next year.

This place was great! Accommodated a large group not only with beds, but also seating in the TV room and around the dining room table. Mark was so easy to communicate with. He always responded right away. All of the listing information and pre-check in instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Will stay again!

Our families had a great Memorial Day weekend at Lauras place. Lots of room and in a great location! Laura and Gloria were very responsive and took care of an issue we ran into right away. Would recommend and come back

It was a perfect week! It was in a perfect location? Very comfortable and clean. It was everything we hoped for and more.

This is our third (or more?) stay with Lynda as our host. It's always wonderful staying at the Tamarack Club. The location and amenities are ideal! Our unit is always clean and comfortable. My favorite part is how close we are to the slopes. Lynda is always a great host and is friendly, helpful, & responsive!

We love it so much here we've already booked several stays for next year. Cindy's condo never disappoints, and has the perfect location for skiing.

Normally we stay around the town of Ellicottville but this was the first time we stayed right at Holiday Valley and we would absolutely stay here again. If you are here to ski, staying slopeside is the best choice. Lynda's place was comfortable, clean and super convenient to the slopes. Access to the parking garage and storage of our skis right in the building was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Jacqueline and Ella’s wooden chalet is such a cozy and charming home to stay for a group looking to reconnect. The massive couches, toasty fireplaces, wood bar, long dining table, and bubbly hot tub are fantastic places to come together to share stories and memories. Bedrooms have space and storage for luggage, and the downstairs single bed is a Full size (upstairs has a kids twin). Main floor bathroom has a large shower and upper floor has a massive tub. Plenty of supplies, including towels, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, kitchen supplies, cocktail/wine supplies, coffee, detergent, and tons of games. TVs are HD and big enough for the whole crew to watch the Bills game 🦬. We were able to fit 2 sedans and an SUV in the parking area (just don’t block the garage). Missing anything or need a bit of maintenance on older parts of the home? Jacqueline is the most responsive host I’ve had and will get it taken care of. Thanks for the stay!

Such a great comfortable location!

We loved this place. It worked out so well for my family. It snowed every day, so the skiing was great. The chalet has a level driveway and easy access to the village and slopes. (no steep slippery roads!) It was clean, warm, and cozy with comfortable beds. We hope to return next year.

Great location, very walkable to shops/restaurants in town and also right along the main route of the wine trail. The inside has been updated to look modern while still maintaining a lot of charm. We visited in November so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside, but noted the nice fenced yard with fire pit and a covered hangout area which would be lovely in warmer weather. We really appreciated how well stocked it was with options to make any guest happy (coffee and tea, popcorn and blankets for a movie night, all kinds of games, dog supplies, etc.). The hosts really thought of everything, and I would recommend a stay here to anyone. We traveled as two couples doing the wine trail for a weekend, and it worked perfectly for us.

My girlfriend and I stayed one night in Cabin #3 at Edinboro Lake Resort, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything was effortless—check-in couldn’t have been easier. The key was waiting for us inside the cabin, which made settling in seamless and stress-free after a long drive. The cabin itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. You can tell it’s well cared for—clean linens, cozy furniture, and everything we needed was right there. It had a warm, inviting feel that made us instantly relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal setting for a quiet getaway, and we only wish we had stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, for more than just one night!

Kristie was absolutely wonderful. She cared about our stay throughout our time there. When the hot water heater broke on Saturday evening, she made half a dozen calls on Sunday and had someone there first thing Monday morning. Got it running on Monday and replaced on Tuesday. That's amazing! Other questions and concerns were addressed quickly. She was flexible with our check-in and check-out times, trying to get us as much time at the lake as possible. The home's open concept and large basement were perfect for family time and activities. Our daughter loved her bedroom with the desk. My nephews and brother enjoyed the privacy of the basement bedroom. Parking area is muddy and swampy after rains, but the lake is nearby and the lakeside community is perfect for bike riding and walking. Bonus, Lakeside Bagel is a great breakfast place, an easy walk just down the street. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks for everything!

We needed to finish my mothers estate so this enabled us to have meals together and some to stay over night. Perfect solution for us. Andrea is a wonderful hostess. We are definitely glad to recommend her highly. She is absolutely a great hostess. Quick response on communication and so kind.

My father and I stayed here for several weeks while my mother was being treated for a serious illness at a nearby hospital. It was a very difficult and uncertain time for our family. We immediately felt at home, relaxed and comfortable when we stepped into the house and apartment. It is spacious but felt very warm and cozy. The house has alot of charm and character with the inside wooden staircase leading upstairs and a beautiful large outside sitting porch. There are many windows and natural light in the apartment. We were able to witness the beautiful blooming of the magnolia flowering tree out our windows. The host was very flexible and accomodating to our fluid situation and responsive when we needed to extend our stay. The property manager Joe was very friendly and helpful. The apartment layout was perfect for our needs. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the apartment. The bathtub was very relaxing and the beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Very nice house! Perfect driveway and room for the boat. Quiet neighborhood. Well placed for fishing the lake.

Very friendly person (Emily) offered to bring fruit tray and coffee in the morning because someone previously broke the Keurig coffee maker listed on the amenities. We declined but definitely appreciated the kind offer. She also has a nice shop where you can fulfill your sweet tooth with all kinds of pastries, pies etc... Had a very peaceful night watching the clear skies and hear the sounds of all the wildlife. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a small family gathering over the 4th of July. The house was so beautiful and peaceful, and exactly what we all needed. Adults and kids enjoyed the amenities. The pool and video game machine were highlights for all. The history of the home was fascinating, and the location can not be beat. Rosalind was an amazing host- always very helpful. We all agreed before leaving that we would love to come back and visit again sometime soon. Definitely one of the top vacation places we have ever stayed at!
