Monthly Rentals in Chathill

We had a lovely few nights at Gaby Cottage. The location was good for what we wanted to do in the area. We could walk across the fields to Embleton and onto Craster along the coastline. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay in Rock Northumberland. Fred’s cottage was a great place to be based for visits to the coast and Alnwick. The cottage has been very tastefully renovated, it is very well equipped throughout. The kitchen has an excellent oven and hob. A sunny garden encourages guests to dine outside, weather permitting. Would be happy to recommend a stay at this peaceful country cottage.

Fantastic few days away exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast with our young family and dog. The cottage was a perfect base - the cottage was really well equipped for adults and kids. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to create a very homely and cosy feel. More spacious than some of the photos suggest! The linen was all top quality and having a secure garden was perfect for our dog. The outside seating area was a bonus and despite being a little chilly still got some good use. Ruth was an excellent host and provided lots of clear instructions on things to do / places to eat. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a great spot to explore the Northumberland coast. We had a great time at Clare’s lovely cottage with our dog. Clare’s communication since the moment we booked was great and she was very helpful. The check in process was really easy and simple. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the welcome hamper with lovely fresh bread, A delicious lemon drizzle cake, wine and bacon was a lovely touch. The location of the cottage is excellent, a stones throw away from the local pub which serves lovely meals, The beach is a nice 20 minute or so walk away and is excellent if you have a dog. Overall really pleased with the stay and will definetly be returning.
