Monthly Rentals in Chateaugay

Our son and I stayed at Riverside Cottage to explore and fish the Salmon River and visit the hidden and overlooked areas of the Northern Adirondacks. We had a wonderful time. We had beautiful weather to enjoy the birdsong and beautiful wildflowers and gardens maintained by Lorraine and John. We were welcomed on our arrival like extended family. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the outdoors. We loved listening to the many songbirds and rush of the water flowing downstream. We hope to return another time and would recommend the cottage to those who enjoy connecting with nature hosted by the nicest people who you will ever meet.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We had a lovely stay at the little cottage. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the lake in the evenings, it was super beautiful. The cottage was cozy. It was nice and clean when we arrived and was stocked with the essential cooking tools, which was great. There is a fire pit and a BBQ as well. The self check-in was easy.

We like to travel for vacation and this place by far is our favorite. We keep coming here for 5 years and hope to come again. It feels like home and exactly what we need when we’re away.
