We enjoyed our stay very much. Sylvie was a great host. The house was lovely. The outdoor area, swimming pool and beautiful garden was perfect for outdoor living. Close proximity to Cognac ensured that all services were only a short drive away.

Very nice and large new house. We found everything we needed. The bedding is super comfortable! And we had a garage to store our bikes! Too bad the road is so noisy very early in the morning… but we would be happy to come back to finish the visit to Angoulême! Very beautiful city, by the way!

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

Quiet stay in the countryside with the river's song as background music. Ideal for large group stays. The house is spacious, very well equipped, and tastefully decorated. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe discovery of the environment for all ages.

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

We spent a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute peace and quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

Functional and well arranged accommodation. Bucolic and quiet environment despite the passage of the A10 motorway nearby (traffic noise). See if it's not more inconvenient to enjoy the terrace in summer... Well located in relation to sightseeing in this area. Friendly and available host.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Very pleasant and relaxing stay thanks to the pretty setting of the garden, and the very cozy accommodation. Emmanuelle and her family provided communication and hospitality, the stay went very well, thank you to them.

Very clean accommodation, tastefully decorated, a real treat for the eyes. Philippe and Jocelyne welcomed us in person and with open arms. 1 st breakfast on the house, everything is included, even butter and jam💕 The accommodation is very well equipped. There's even toothpaste if you forget to slip it into the toiletry bag😉. For the kitchen, it is very nice to find salt, pepper, even the necessary for the vinaigrette. This is far from the case everywhere! It helps out and it's a big plus. Florian, our two dogs Pakito and Olaf, and I greatly enjoyed our two days with you. We highly recommend Philippe and Jocelyne's accommodation. PS: very nice walks to do with your animals.

Very warm welcome, quiet and relaxing location, perfect for finding peace in the countryside. The house is very spacious, very clean absolutely everywhere. I highly recommend it and will not hesitate to come back here!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had a great time at Laëtitia's place. The place is beautiful, so is the place. This mix of modern wood and accessories is great. Laëtitia is a super host, very welcoming, responsive and available. I highly recommend this listing! In the event that we return to the area, we will return to this listing without hesitation.

A true haven of peace! The house is a little gem nestled in the heart of nature, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the quiet. Everything is thought out with taste and simplicity, the space is clean, well-equipped, the exterior is very large and beautifully furnished, and the surrounding environment invites you to relax. Roy is a caring, discreet and very responsive host, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. An address to recommend without hesitation for those looking for tranquility, authenticity and a change of scenery in Charente-Maritime!

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.
