Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban

We travelled with two toddlers, and Sandrine's home lent itself perfectly to that! A spacious enclosed terrace, a large open living-kitchen, an incredibly quiet environment. Place enough for everyone! Sandrine is very helpful and filled the pool especially for these crazy Belgians, who already wanted to take a refreshing dip. On Thursday and Friday, you will wake up to the smell of freshly baked organic bread in the bakery under the house. If you also eat this bread, your day is complete! Thanks Sandrine!

Our stay was perfect from the moment Corina greeted us so warm and welcoming, to the level of comfort, cleanliness and relaxation at her wonderful apartment. She had thought of everything and we especially loved the outdoor seating area and pool to relax in after a full day of exploring. Waking up each morning in comfort and total silence, this was a haven for us after 7 weeks of travelling and would have to be one of my favourite accomodations out of all our travels. Would highly recommend this to all, and especially thank Corina for being such a wonderful host.

We had a great time in Salignac at Gil and Line's. Quiet accommodation in a peaceful and relaxing environment in nature. Close to the main points of interest in the area, this is an ideal accommodation for hiking, biking, cultural or relaxing visits.

Josiane and Jean Paul's cottage was the perfect getaway we were looking for, secluded but not remote a perfect place to escape the chaos of the world! The location is pristine and filled with enchanting sights, sounds and smells that feed the soul, to healing proportions! Our hosts were very accommodating and had no problem going the extra mile, they truly made us feel at home.

This Love Room is always perfect! Very clean and tidy. Functional equipment. Very hearty breakfast. The atmosphere is perfect when you arrive, soft lighting, candles lit and relaxing music. I highly recommend this place. The host Denis is very friendly and responsive.

Genevieve is very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was missing, a pleasant space. Lots of little touches that make you happy, like fresh flowers in vases. I would highly recommend it A peaceful place in the middle of nature and quiet. Wonderful, thank you Genevieve and who knows, maybe another time.

Xavier's place was beautiful with lots of space inside and a gorgeous front yard. Lots of animals in the area such as horses, sheep, and cats!

5-day stay at Lauren's home. Beautiful house with all the necessary accessories and clean. We were in a quiet place and could eat and rest outside. Lauren is very welcoming and friendly. I recommend Lauren's house for your stays in Haute Provence. Thank you for everything.

An excellent apartment in the heart of the old town. Beautifully decorated with charming French antiques and art but not over decorated at all, a selection of pretty dishes and glassware that made lunches and breakfast from the daily farmers’ market in Aix a joy to prepare. Spacious, clean, super comfortable bed, elegant tub and shower, accommodations for our baby. The list goes on. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Moments from the best cafes, boulangeries and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves so much and slept very well here. The only thing to note with luggage and a baby, is there is no elevator and it’s 6 floors up. A good workout in the heat but the place is air conditioned and beautiful so it’s worth it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Visited Sisteron because of a Sourdough Viennoiserie course. After staying a few nights in Nice, prior to driving to Sisteron, in a not-so-comfy Airbnb, walking into this space was exciting because my sister and I felt right at home. We were only a 5 minute walk away from the center of town and only a 7 minute drive to a grocery store. Also, the train station is a 5 minute walk away. There's also two gas stations close by which was super convenient since we rented a car. The kitchen was equipped with so much and, we had fun cooking some meals while there. If I ever end up in Sisteron again, I will rent this space out!

The accommodation was in impeccable condition, and the couple is really charming, available and welcoming. I recommend it.

The accommodation was perfect and we truly enjoyed the countryside of France. The house was very private and the surrounding was lovely. The house is filled with all kinds of amenities you could need and more. Beautiful large apartment, cosy, extremely well equipped, 2 steps from the city centre of Digne-les-Bains. Anne-Sophie and Thierry are lovely and made themselves available despite our late arrival. The value for money is unbeatable. We recommend 1000%!

The accommodation offered is very clean and very well equipped. The rooms are large and the living/dining room spacious and very bright. I would recommend this rental. The owner is very attentive and available.

Apartment as described, everything is well arranged to feel good. The basic essentials (oil, salt, sugar) are on site. A pleasant outdoor area for dining or basking in the sun. A great advantage, the proximity of the city you can do everything on foot, the Saturday morning market, the lake and the ride with the little tourist train that takes you to the foot of the citadel, a bakery opposite the rental. In addition, parking is in front of the house, which is closed by a gate and therefore secure. Regarding the noise, since the rental is right next to the train station, we were not disturbed more than that. To emphasise the friendliness and kindness of Mike, without hesitation we will return to Sisteron

Very nice studio, well equipped, comfortable bedding! We had a 10-hour drive, the self check-in is really convenient. Virginie is very responsive in exchanges, which is appreciated. We recommend this accommodation, and if we come back to the area, we will gladly rent it again!

Damien was an AMAZING host! We had a funny emergency with the washing machine that resulted in him buying a new one for us during our stay. He was so fast to act and was just an incredible host. This is a great apartment if you have a car whilst in Aix, the underground private space is perfect. We enjoyed using the pool too! Thank you so much Damien
