The Cartlodge is a converted timber framed Suffolk Cartlodge situated within the quiet and picturesque countryside of rural Suffolk. Approached by a long private driveway and surrounded by open fields, access to the accommodation is via the external staircase. Donkeys Rosie and Mollie and the sheep roam peacefully in the adjoining meadows. The Cartlodge makes an ideal base for exploring the countryside with the market town of Woodbrige and and the popular Sutton Hoo site just 10 miles away.

Part of an 18th century barn complex, this former cart lodge has a good sized double bedroom, a well-stocked kitchen, a spacious living room (with sofa bed), and a well-appointed bathroom. The Cart Lodge is a 40 Minute walk to the White Lion Pub at Ufford, close to Rendlesham Forest and within easy reach of all the attractions of the east Suffolk coast.

We are in easy access to the A12 and Suffolk Coast, 3 miles from the beautiful market town of Woodbridge, 16 miles from the historic coastal town of Aldeburgh and close to Snape with the famous Maltings Concert Hall. There are many great pubs and restaurants close by.
