Very nice house… we had a great time with friends, all delighted with the accommodation Everything is planned for an excellent stay from the kitchen to the bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms Nice pool but not heated, and that's a shame. 🙃 We recommend the place and will definitely come back.

This is the second time we have spent a quiet moment in this little haven of peace and we will definitely come back!

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Great stay in this beautiful house! Well located, everything is in compliance, nothing to report! Only downside: the top bunk beds creak a lot when you move at night.

Very quiet, new, clean and excellently decorated house. With a wonderful and private patio. Very nice and well located. Brigitte waited for us to give us the keys and instructions. It was wonderful.

A big thank you to Valerie for hosting and kindness. An excellent welcome cake (local recipe) and everything available, nothing is missing. Coffee, tea, sweets, mosquito repellent cream, baby cotton pads, changing table, rubbish bags and everything else. We didn't miss anything, neither for my wife and me, nor for the baby. We will definitely come back.

Excellent stay. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is very beautiful, well decorated, spacious and very well-equipped (the mattresses are very comfortable). It's very quiet and it's great to have the ping pong table and bikes. We will come back if we return to the area😊.

Fantastic place! Super clean, perfectly located and the host was very friendly and helpful. We were very well received by the whole family. Such sweet people with nice children and incredibly gentle dogs who did it super well with my own little dog. We got good tips for the area and there were even fresh flowers and eggs on the table when we entered. What else do you want? Highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Shirley is a very welcoming host, the accommodation is ultra clean, beautifully decorated, you feel at home. Close to all shops. We'll be happy to go back. One of the best and most beautiful homes we've ever done. 🙂 Everything is great!

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

Brilliant family holiday, accommodation was exactly as portrayed in the pictures and description. Marina who completes the check-in/checkout is great and very helpful. Will hopefully be back.

Very pleasant stay! The accommodation is faithful to the description and ideally located in the center of Houmeau, while being quiet. Shops, restaurants, and beach are all within walking distance.

quiet and peaceful location with all the necessary equipment. The apartment is tastefully renovated. A small terrace to enjoy the outdoors... given the weather I could not enjoy the pool but it will be for the next time. I will come back with great pleasure.
