Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Guitoune's Stable

In the family for eight generations, this old farmhouse, located in the heart of Saintonge, has retained its authenticity and charm. You will stay in my grandmother's old stable, which has recently been restored. Lovers of nature and tranquility, you will share our farmhouse with cats, chickens and rabbits. F1 completely renovated in December 2017, next to the house , composed of a bedroom, a bathroom ( shower, sink), a toilet, a common area with sofa BZ, kitchenette and dining area, fridge, plaque... large plot, swimming pool... near the Charente, hiking, Romanesque church of the 11th.. For the summer season ( July August) our rental is not suitable for long holiday stays, which is why we will not respond to requests for more than 4 nights.

Everything has been thought out for your comfort: bedding, appliances, private sauna and outdoor table under pergola. As hosts, we make sure to be both available and discreet.

The little Gîte is a beautiful open plan space for two people. A double bedroom sits on the mezzanine level. The gîte sits adjacent to our home ‘Le Petit Tournesol’ and is surrounded by gardens and countryside. In the day please enjoy the pool area (May-September) and the gardens to relax and unwind. Reservations for age 18+ only. We are unable to host children and infants.
