Great location, cozy home! Host was really helpful and friendly. Welcomed us on arrival, made sure everything is good during the stay. The place is near to the city, its walking distance, however if you want, you can even rents bikes, there are lot of rental places around. Everything was amazing. I would highly recommend harshani’s place.

lovely stay at ana’s. hosts were extremely friendly. the place was a little hard to find, so a sign out the front would help. but the hosts responded quickly and supported us to check in. great location easy to walk everywhere

This place is a gem! I loved gardens and having our meals outside. The place is clean and tidy. Ranjith, our lovely host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Whether you’re planning a short or long stay, I highly recommend this place. It’s very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

The place is really nice and very cozy. You live together with the hosts on a property, but you have your own small cottage with a private garden – perfect conditions for sufficient privacy. The hosts are extremely warm and accommodating. The breakfast, which can be chosen from a small selection, was very tasty. The room is clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Restaurants, the beach and laundries are within walking distance. Overall a completely successful accommodation – we will be happy to come back!

Manu and Gayana are stupendous host and the property is tranquil and categorically matches to the description. Place for nature lovers, with oodles of flours and fauna amidst it, e.g. lagoon and beach is right next door (700 m), to be specific my delightful moment was when I saw fireflies adorning the trees at the property and delectable home cooked meals at very economical prices. I’m definitely coming back here for solace and being closer to nature. Cheers!!

The highlights of our stay at Machan Villa were the surroundings and our hosts, Yasith and Soma. We spent a lot of time on the property, enjoying the pool area and beautiful gardens. The property is very private and borders "the jungle" so there was lots of animal life( birds-peacocks, monkeys, lizards). The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were large and clean. The kitchen could use some upgrading. There is no microwave and the barbeque and some appliances are looking pretty worn. Yasith and Soma were excellent hosts. They provided wonderful breakfasts every morning ( we did not need lunch!) and cooked great seafood dinners. They took great care of the grounds, pool and house while we were there. They also provided transportation and offered to book tours for us if we wished. We hope to return to the Villa some day!
