Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Champniers

No complaints, the house is clean, spacious, and well renovated. There is everything you need to stay a few nights to a few weeks (equipped kitchen, washing machine, coffee machine, tv, fiber...). The location is ideal if you want to rest in peace while having access to all amenities at 15min. Angouleme and Bordeaux are not far away either. Ludivine and Geoffrey were very welcoming and accommodating during our stay, we were in full purchase of real estate in the area, and coming from the Netherlands it allowed us to breathe a little time to do all the administrative steps required. We had our pug with it and the available space allowed it to enjoy a little of the great outdoors. Self check-in is always convenient especially when you have a lot to do, and it allows you to leave the key in the box when you leave to avoid losing it unnecessarily during the day. Bonus point, Gaia's presence <3

The stay in Tiffany's house was even better than all my expectations, me who often forgot a few things I was able to find everything I was missing ( salt, freezer bag, bandage etc. ) the house was spotless in terms of cleaning, the children loved the games room, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, I think I bought the same mattresses for my home. The kids even received a little attention to them 🤩 Everything was really perfect. We'll be happy to go back.

The owners are very kind, always ready to help us with maximum availability. The apartment is very welcoming, clean, well finished and above all very well equipped. A nice experience that I hope we will repeat

We had a great time at Kim and Christian's place. A quiet and relaxing stay in this accommodation surrounded by nature. The sheep nearby made young and old happy! Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

Very quiet stay, there are many castles to visit nearby. You can stock up nearby thanks to the supermarket. The welcome is very friendly and nothing is missing. Gîte is to be recommended!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

The house is very nice, very well-equipped. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. Nearby tours and hikes are available. Rebecca was always responsive to our questions.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

The gite was perfect & furnished beautifully. It had everything you could possibly need. It's in a quiet location which is what we wanted for a good relaxing break and was perfectly situated for a wedding venue we were attending in a nearby village. All in all a perfect holiday.

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.

This helped us to get to know what it is like to live in a very old charming French farmhouse. We loved it and the location. Well worth the price. I recommend it. Gordon Smith

Charming little home in a green setting. Anne and Xavier are attentive, available and friendly. We had a nice stay at their home, and were able to really enjoy nature and this beautiful area. We recommend it for a quiet stay. Some more supplies in the accommodation would be welcome (toilet paper, sugar, dishwashing liquid...) but otherwise great!

The whole family will keep a very nice memory of this stay at Chantal's. A property to remember.
