Everything is accurate from the reviews. The communication and attentiveness was great. His mother made us some amazing dishes as a gift and brought it to us personally, such sweet and amazing people! The whole experience is well worth it and we hope to visit again soon! Definitely walk to Romeo and Juliet down the street, you will have so much fun with the owners and enjoy some of their fusion food. We rented a car and drove to beaches throughout the island. You will need a car if you’re planning on traveling around. This has been an amazing stay!

We were 5 couples (10 adults) staying for 7 days in this wonderful house. The house is very nice and corresponds perfectly to the description. It has all amenities for 10 people. It allowed us to have a wonderful time. It is also well situated, very intimate but also close to supermarkets and restaurants. The host, Stella, is very kind and helpful. She greeted us in the house with Greek hospitalities, which allowed us to relax and not cook for the first day / breakfast. A plus is that water and minimum supplies (e.g. coffee, oil, and dish soap) were available when we arrived. She also responded very quickly to any of our demands and had someone sent to the house within an hour when needed. The cleaning lady came in the middle of the week, which we appreciated. We highly recommend this rental for a peaceful escape with friends and family.

Beautiful stone villa perfect for our family! The weather was too cool to utilize the pool but we enjoyed a glass of wine outside in the picturesque settings. When booking, we made the assumption the smaller pool was the hot tub/jacuzzi however it is a smaller (not heated) pool for younger children. The jacuzzi is in the master bedroom. We were very sad to say goodbye to this home.

Lovely villa sitting in the hills outside of Rethymno City. All self contained and immaculately kept and maintained. Very responsive host who was most welcoming. Nikos and his daughter Katerina did a fantastic job responding to our needs and making us most welcome. Katerina has superb English so communication was never a problem. Would thoroughly recommend. It would also suggest you need a car to get about either down the hill to City and beaches or up the hill to mountain villages and exploring. Pool is great and outdoor space around the villa is superb. Reccomendations - we followed up on a few authentic tavernas from Katerina and they were superb. Would defo go and eat at Athivoles Taverna in Chromonastiri. Only a short drive away ie 7 km but basically the most authentic Cretan cuisine you will taste for sure. Hits were magnificent. All in all we had a great family holiday.
