Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chalon-sur-Saône

Very nice hosts and a very nice holiday home. Very tastefully decorated. The location is very quiet and peaceful with a great view. Interesting and important points can be reached in a short time by car. We would definitely recommend this holiday destination.

Accommodation as described, spacious, tidy, clean and fairly well equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet, the street is very quiet, the environment is very pleasant. Big positive point of the accommodation, it remains cool despite the hot weather at the time of our stay. Exchanges with the hosts were cordial, the privacy of each other is respected. A good address in the heart of the surrounding tourist sites.

Beautiful, homey house. Lovely garden with beautiful flowers. Everything was also available for our children (twins of 2). We enjoyed.

The house of Aurelie and Johann is even nicer in reality than on the photo's with a lovely garden along the canal. Very private and well equiped. We had a very warm welcome by Johann and Aurelie. Thank you both for a great stay.

Our family came together for a week at Les Coquelicots from all parts of the world and what a wonderful time we had. The home is charmingly appointed and fits eight adults comfortably, with lots of alternative spaces in which to find quiet or relocate for a change of scenery. The garden is a lovely setting for reading and dining, the living room is spacious for games and movies and the bar is another kitsch space to convene with some delicious bottles easily found in Burgundy. We were always able to contact someone for assistance and we found lots of spices, teas, oils, vinegars and all one might want to find in a delightful countryside kitchen. The home is in a beautiful village about 20 mins by car from Beaune and other villages within the region. Walking in the countryside and enjoying an evening sunset is possible on foot to many different vantage points. It’s a special place to relax, make memories and feel connected with nature.

Do not hesitate. This is a perfect location for walking to all the key sites and restaurants in Beaune, two of the best restaurants literally around the corner 1 min away. The design of the apartment is modern, the kitchen is well stocked if you have cooking in mind, the bed is comfy and the shower is great. Pierre-Antoine is friendly and helpful. He rode his bike to Beaune Train Station to meet us when we arrived, and helped us negotiate transport to the apartment. There are essentially no taxis or Ubers in Beaune. The station is easily walkable when you do not have much luggage. We agree with the comments that this is not an apartment for you if you have mobility issues.

We really enjoyed the space in and around the house, the rest, the view and the swimming pool. Thanks a lot and hopefully see you another time.

Nice large space for our group of two couples. Great location to walled portion of Beaune- everything very walkable. Grocery store right next door. Nice to have private parking as well walked almost everywhere. Hosts were very responsive with any questions and unit was very well stocked with anything you may need. Terrace was lovely. Check in directions were most detailed we have ever seen with pictures to help you find correct parking and the unit itself. Spiral staircases outside unit and within were not an issue for our party. Would definitely stay here again.

Lucien is very welcoming and gave us plenty of good tips for visiting the area. The house is beautiful and in a beautiful garden, we had a very pleasant stay, we will come back!!

We loved our stay at the cottage house! Everything was very clean and pretty, they even set the table for us! The location is perfect, it‘s right in the center with a supermarket just in front of the building. The host also responded very quickly and was very nice and helpful.

Our stay was lovely. We regretted having planned a stay that was too short to enjoy all the possibilities offered by the villa and the surrounding area. Special mention to the cleanliness of the villa, its equipment and the hospitality of Marie-Laurence and her husband who were very accommodating, responsive and generous in small attentions. Looking forward to staying there again.

What a truly amazing property in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were fabulous, friendly with lots of local knowledge and recommendations for things to see - the perfect spot for a quiet getaway to relax and recharge. I will definitely return as I fell in love with this tranquil area of France.

Great stay as a family. The games and the spa fully met our expectations. The region is very beautiful and allows beautiful hikes nearby.

We spent a weekend with friends in David's cottage and had a great time. The cottage is very well equipped, very clean, the pool is fenced and locked which with a lot of young children is really safe. The region is very pleasant: visit Saulieu, Autun, Morvan Park or just go for a walk from the house, everything is possible! David is very responsive, available and pleasant. David was even kind enough to give us fresh mushrooms he had just picked (a delight). We recommend eyes closed.
