Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Our cottage will allow you to discover this beautiful region between sea and mountain. Ideal for a family who loves hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, as well as swimming and fishing (Montbel and Puivert lakes) 15 minutes away. Access to all shops, electric bike rental 4 km from the village of Chalabre.

Located 2 km above the village of Chalabre where you can find all the amenities of a village of 1000 inhabitants, you will stay in the middle of a property of 75 hectares facing the Pyrenees chain. The estate also welcomes mountain bikers as well as riders and their mounts.

This apartment is peaceful and central. It is located in the center of Chalabre, bastide with unspoiled architectural and natural heritage, a few minutes walk from the Halle au Blé (18th century market hall), ten minutes walk from the castle and a little ten minutes drive from Lake Montbel. The house is an old hotel, now a family home that I restore with my father, tuner, who has a piano restoration workshop on the ground floor.
