In the appartment of Alessandra you're in the middle of Toscane and you can feel the Italian heartbeat in the friendly, relaxed streets of Certaldo. We immediately felt at home. The rooms have plenty of space and a calm atmosphere. You can eat or relax in the cosy livingroom, with beautiful pictures on the wall telling you about the old days in Certaldo. The kitchen is small but big enough for the cooking you would want to do. And otherwise you can always eat with the local people in one of the restaurants at the piazza. The people are so friendly and relaxed. From the appartment you can walk to the railway station in less than five minutes. So you can easily visit places in Toscane. In the hills around Certaldo you can make beautiful walks. You will experience silence, birds, flowers, butterflies and extraordinary views all over the Val d'Elsa and beyond. Alessandra, thank you so much for our pleasant stay and great time. Toscane and Certaldo will be in our hearts forever.

This apartment was a DREAM! Staying in a medieval palace in the middle of a Tuscan village? What more could you ask for! Our stay was incredible and the village was perfectly located to see so many things. Having the car space in the old town was wonderful, and we loved exploring the surrounding villages. We also loved making Certaldo our home for 10 days and the time flew in! Most of all, our hosts Gabriella and Elisabetta made the biggest impact on how well things went. From check-in to check-out, Elisabetta was responsive and her advice was always spot on. Even before our arrival, her suggestions and tips helped us prepare for everything. Highly recommend the pasta cooking class and wine tasting that she helped book for us! So many memories we’ll always look back on fondly. Thank you Gabriella and Elisabetta- this is one of the most UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at.
