Sean went above and beyond to imprpve our stay - helping us with the incredible wood fired spa and explaining the house in great detail. We loved the stay and could not recommend more.

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Sally, Dougall (and Maggie Murray 🐶) are so kind and amazing hosts. My partner and I had the best getaway in Tiny Town, cozying up by the fire and a bath under the stars! We felt right at home and honestly didn’t want to leave! Maggie gave the best cuddles and was the cherry on top of an already perfect stay.

This was our second visit and honestly, we left it far too long between stays! From our very first visit to today, this place has always been a wonderful escape. The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home every time. The dogs are absolutely lovely too, they provide the best kind of therapy! We love the privacy of the area, and highly recommend paying a little extra for the hot tub, it’s worth every penny. This spot holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re already looking forward to many more visits. Thanks again Nancy!

Loved the peacefulness of your place! It is well located, close to many wineries, not far from Cromwell and half way between Wanaka and Queenstown if you’re after day trips. The outdoor bath is quite special under the stars 🥰, the view is really beautiful. Maybe one thing to mention is - it’s a uphill gravel road to get to the property. Thank you for having me!

My stay was in the cute cozy cabin, with a wonderful outside shower and hot tub, it was a quiet and very peaceful setting, my stay was in autumn, so the colours in the trees was incredibly beautiful. The birds life was amazing, I had Piwakawakas (Fantails) and Korimako (Bellbids) visit me on the peaceful veranda, which look out onto the stunning mountains. Nancy and her team where deIightful and very approachable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the cozy cabin at the lookout Lodge and I would highly recommend to anyone.

they were very nice. even loaned me a chefs knife and some oil. let us pick some fruit from the trees. would recomend.

A great spot to stay in Wānaka, located at the back of the property it was private and peaceful even with a number of airbnb’s on the property.

Maybe a 20 minute drive to the small town of wanaka, quiet and cozy cabin, very kind hosts, highly recommend!

I love this place. Peaceful and so clean. Ohhh! the bed! it's so comfy. Room is not cold either even it's in the farm. The toilet??? the best! Extra towels. Love it as she is thinking for the mother earth. ☺️ I love her idea. One more thing, the welcome sign, I felt that I was welcomed. Thanks for the best place!

Great Peaceful Location, Clean and tidy with everything we needed for a great weekend break away, happy to recommend to others.

Great base for a couple of days in Lake Hawea :) Exactly as described, clean, and walking distance to the lakeside and cafes.

We loved our stay as it had 5 separate family bedrooms with showers and a large kitchen and family room with a piano. This created a great mix of both private and shared spaces for our extended family and children. The house was reminiscent of a tramping hut with a long porch to relax on and was basic whilst having all we needed. This created a real holiday feel. We loved that it was so walking/biking distance to the lake and walking and cycling trails. All the family would be happy to go back and a great time was had by all.

My stay at this cozy Airbnb hut was absolutely delightful. Nestled in nature, the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the busy city life. The hut was clean, well-equipped, and just as pictured. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the fresh breeze was a highlight. A special shoutout to the owner, who was incredibly efficient and helpful — they quickly resolved a water staging issue in the washroom with great professionalism. Their responsiveness made the stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene, nature-filled setting. Would love to return!

We had a fantastic two night stay. The accomodation is fabulous with lots of personal touches and the garden and surrounding area absolutely stunning. We envy other guests that managed to stay for much longer. We would love to stay again. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

A perfect place for two guys with mountain bikes. Very central, MTB tracks close by. Numerous Aviation movements made the experience of living at the air field memorable. Plenty of space to have, conversations with other guests staying in their cabins. Nigel has a wealth of local knowledge to share.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie’s place — the location was ideal, tucked away just enough for privacy but still very convenient for exploring Wanaka. The space was beautifully set up, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The bed was super comfy, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. Julie was incredibly accommodating and responsive, with great communication from the start. She kindly allowed us an early check-in so our baby could nap — our travel cot fit in perfectly, which made all the difference after a long drive. We felt really well looked after and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Margot’s Hut, right by Mt Iron. Everything as described. Great communication. We would love to be back one day. Thank you again!

The Banya was AMAZING. The view is incredible, its very private, and feels very luxurious! I don't think it would be possible to find a better stay in Wanaka. They even provided great drinks and snacks. Unfortunately the Hot Tub had issues while we were there and we were not able to use it, however the host was incredibly responsive to messages and tried their best to get it fixed before we left. When they were not able to they offered a partial refund. Overall the experience was fantastic.

A cosy wee studio-type cabin with the most fabulous views and total peace. If you are a star gazer this is the place to be. As the hosts have said, the last part of the drive is gravel. I found it useful to arrive before dark so I knew where I was going.

Was a perfect place to stay while completing the Otago Rail Trail. Located at the halfway point. Also very peaceful and clean would recommend.
