Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Central Manitoulin

Very nice house with well equipped kitchen in a quiet and beautiful area. Shop and beach within walking distance. Phantastic trail (cup and saucer trail) can be reached by car for a great day trip, passing some additional nice beaches at some lakes. Perfect place if you want to rest and enjoy nature. Very good communication with the host, very helpful! It was a pity, that we had only so little time.

Great few days at Marilee's place. Ideal location, easy to explore Little Current area and wider Manitoulin Island. Everything was as described and matched the photos. Plenty of space and garden was nice to sit out and relax...and talk to the chickens! Marilee was very easy to communicate with and was always responsive.

Joyce and Mike are absolutely amazing, very professional , friendly . They go over and above to make sure you have everything . The place is very clean, spotless. Everything in there is beautiful, pottery cups, glassware. The deck is fabulous with the water view . We cannot wait to back . It’s breathtaking. Jay and Nikki

This home was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was truly an oasis. Super well stocked, with everything we needed. The home was clean and spacious and in an amazing location.

Hôte très flexible et compréhensif. Nous y étions pour le travail donc, n'avons pas pu profitez des alentours mais, c'est une belle maison bien situé sur le bord de l'eau. Environnement intérieur et extérieur super et très confortable. Bien équipé intérieur comme extérieur. Je recommande pour tous voyageurs que ce soit pour des vacances ou pour le travail.

I stayed with my family at Tricia's place for 2 nights. We were blown away from the moment we drove into the driveway. It was secluded yet so close to downtown. Enjoyed bonfire and barbecues at night. Everyone who saw the pictures are already asking about the place and looking to book it for their own trips. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great place and close to Grotto and Tobemory town. Matt is really helpful and responds in a timely manner. We used the kayaks and BBQ and everything worked well.

3 days gateway with friends. We had really great time. Kitchen is equipped with all the basic required kitchenettes. Place is nicely decorated and it was clean. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck. Definitely recommend for short or long term stay. Walkable to cruise and restaurants.

Sara’s place was exactly as described and was the perfect option for overflow bedrooms while visiting family for the holidays. For those who are looking for local things to do, we highly recommend the Black Creek sno-shoe trail for an easy hike (just a short drive away). We will be back!

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Larissa was very responsive with any questions I had during the stay. The entire place was spotless, and had a very relaxing ambiance. It felt like a house straight out of HGTV. The mattresses on the bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the railing on the top bunk felt very sturdy. Overall great weekend stay!

A great basement apartment, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A perfect spot for exploring the beautiful island. Hosts friendly and helpful

This is a lovely house in the area, clean and quiet, located near waterfront and downtown of Little Current, very convenience for people to explore this beautiful town!

Had a great couple of days stay at Sue's place. Our dog enjoyed the beach that is so close to this place (3-4 minutes walking). Bathroom was clean and a full kitchen is available for use. Massive massive TV! All in all, up to expectations in all ways. Thanks, Sue!

We were two retired couples who rented the apartment for 3 nights. Very pleased. Walk-able location in Little Current, on the main street. Great views of waterway, bridge, and sunrise from the comfortable balcony. The apartment was as shown in pictures and as described. Chris was very helpful. Instructions for parking, entrance, and use were clear. With central location and over businesses, over night noise could be an issue. Sound generators were provided in the bedrooms. Beds and linens/blankets were comfortable as were living room furnishings. Loft bedroom wasn't used, note that ceiling height is limited beyond the centre of the room, as in the pictures. Bathroom very nicely renovated, hot water and towels great. Kitchen was well equipped for utensils and pots and pans. Bring you own condiments, spices, and tea/coffee for the kettle and basket coffee maker provided. Note that access stairs are steep and internet was slow. TV not 4K and sometimes had to wait to spool the feed.
