At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total).

It has a large double bedroom, living room with sofa beds & Sky TV, a kitchenette with microwave & fridge and a shower room. The HIDE @ Old Plantation is a luxurious self-contained one bedroom country retreat in Cambridgeshire with 40 acres of woodland. Set in a tranquil location, close to the village of Gamlingay, it is a magical place to relax, walk, cycle and soak up the enchanting natural setting. The HIDE has a wonderful pond view with waterlilies and willow trees. Ducks, herons, red kites and migrating geese can often be spotted without moving off the living room couch!

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.
