the Orangerie

L'Orangerie is a pretty studio apartment in Le Vigan, at the foot of Mont Aigoual in the Cévennes National Park. A short walk to Le Vigan town centre, l'Orangerie is set in a shared garden overlooking olive and cypress trees. The apartment once housed orange and lemon trees to protect them from frost during the cold winter months. True to its original layout, the studio is a bright, open plan room with plenty of natural light streaming through powder blue shuttered windows.

You are 5 minutes from the market and the city center, 2 minutes from the river, 50 minutes from Mont Aigoual, 35 minutes from Cirque de Navacelles and central for all hiking departures in the Cevennes. The apartment is completely independent, on the second and last floor in a building of 4 lots. You can enjoy the small balcony to eat in the shade at noon and in the sun in the evening with a view of the park.
