Monthly Rentals in Catfish Bay

Old Red was exactly what my husband and I wanted plus more. The place was clean and cozy. The bathroom had a rain shower head that was amazing after a day fishing. The pond was stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish. What made our trip stand out was the host. Not only were they very responsive but they were also great people. They made sure we had enough firewood for our stay and even offered to provide us charcoal for the grill AND they came and got us to take shelter with them when an unexpected tornado warning went off in the middle of the night. We have added this to our go to travel stays and would recommend it to anyone that wants a getaway from the city. We are definitely going to make plans to stay in their other cabins on their property.

LaDawn's place is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. we were alt to eat a few meals outside without road and vehicle noises. Games, movies, local info, kitchen supplies were all in abundance. We used the grill on several occasions, and enjoyed cornhole after supper. This place is going on our list of places to stay. Loved the covered front and back porches!

We booked this for a fishing trip for my husband and our sons. They had a wonderful time. They enjoyed the games, basketball, and especially the back screened porch room where they could sit and relax with a beautiful view of the backyard area. It's an older manufacturered home but it was very tidy, clean, comfortable, and cozy. There was enough sleeping space for them all and the beds were comfy. They enjoyed sitting outside around the firepit as well. We would definitely consider booking again if they do another trip like this in the future.

Very nice and clean property, updated throughout including nice wood floors. The host, Adrean, was very friendly and responsive. The central heat and AC work great. There is one bedroom at each end, each with his own bathroom. We slept in the king bed, and it was very comfortable. There are two boat ramps close by (each about 5 minutes away) which launch into different parts of the lake. Then you have Kingston, Madill and Durant close by, so there are plenty of restaurants and a lot to do. Roads are paved until you get off of Willow Springs Road, so you have a couple blocks of gravel drive and the parking in front of the lake house is gravel. It was fairly easy to park our boat. We unhooked our boat and left it there each evening and went into town. Felt like a very safe and fairly private area. We would definitely stay here again.
