What a beautiful home. The location is everything! We had the best anniversary getaway and hope to return. Listening to the ocean was so relaxing. Book this now! Jim & Deb's place is a cozy place to stay right in the heart of the Mission Dolores neighborhood. So close to Dolores Park & the J line and other various muni bus stops. The place itself has everything you'd need and has been so thoughtfully laid out. Very comfortable bed! Would love to stay here again!

I stayed here with my family for my graduation weekend and we all had such a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and spacious home with lots of awesome amenities. Whether it’s visiting the Bay Area for the first time or having family come into town for a celebration, you will not be disappointed!

Just wanted to clarify a comment I saw about being fined or overcharged. From my experience, the host was very clear and fair. We originally booked for 7 people but let her know ahead of time that we’d need space for 10. We paid the extra cost upfront and didn’t get hit with any surprise fees—follow the rules and she’ll be a great host. That said, not all 11 beds are full beds. We used the space for a company retreat where everyone expected their own full bed, so a few folks ended up booking hotels or crashing on sofas. But again, the host communicated all of that clearly in advance.

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

My friends and I stayed at Seaon’s home for about a week and we felt right at home. It was a cozy spot with a beautiful outdoor porch and garden to hang out in. There was enough beds for four adults and a baby. Seaon was very easy to communicate with and also responsive when we discussed anything regarding the house. The neighborhood was fairly quiet during our stay which is always nice. We drove to Oakland, San Francisco, and parts of wine country from the house and found it to be in a good central location. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for somewhere to stay with your group.

We booked this place for a family staycation to spend a long weekend doing nothing but relaxing. This place exactly fit the bill. The hot tub was amazing, the pool was lovely and clean. Our little daughter thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The place was clean and well appointed with amenities. Best of all, when we realized we might end up arriving earlier then check in time, Alex promptly set us up to arrive a while hour and a half before time!

The best in San Rafael, plenty of parking and a kayak . Gina is wonderful our guests arrived early so I was asking Gina for early check in Gina response yes right a way Thank you very much. Lovely place to stay. Kitchen and bathroom were modern and lovely. We Cooked every meal at the house and it was a breeze. The heated bathroom floor was a lovely bit of luxury. There is a house close by, i didn't quite realize how close, honestly it wasn't a problem at all. Heard a saxophone being played at 6am briefly..once. If you an overly private person, perhaps the other house is a bit close, but, honestly it's also fine. Overall, wonderful place to stay, we felt extremely relaxed.

MaryBeth and her LOVE temple are an absolute gem. Words can't describe the levels of peace, bliss, and relaxation available to you here. Would recommend to anyone looking for an oasis just an hour from the city and five minutes into town. If you have an mobility issues, just know that there are stairs to climb to reach the temple. If you're able, then climbing up to the perch is part of the fun!

really nice home and details, friendly host and beautiful garden. pretty quiet, some normal neighborhood noise but overall good, comfortable stay. nice bed and kitchen had basics. we felt the peloton bike in the middle of the space threw off the zen vibe- an additional shelf or tiny table to set our belongings would've been preferred. we also would've liked for the outdoor space to be completely private but it wasn't an issue. I would recommend to a friend and would stay there again! thank you nikole :-)

The Aerie is definitely a hidden gem, we had such a relaxing time. I didn’t even realize a spot like this was available and affordable in Oakland. It was definitely worth hiking up those 108 stairs. Im definitely coming back!
